With such a vast menu, deciding what to order can be tough. Here are some of the most highly recommended dishes that capture the essence of Noodle Village:
Wonton Noodle Soup:
This is arguably the most famous dish on the menu. The Shrimp And Pork Wonton Noodle Soup is a must-try. The wontons are praised for their generous filling and delicate wrappers, and the noodles for their perfect, springy texture. The broth is a light and savory consommé that is both comforting and deeply flavorful.
Dim Sum:
The dim sum selection is another major draw. The Steam Shanghai Pork Soup Dumplings are a crowd favorite, celebrated for their thin skin and juicy, flavorful filling. The Shrimp Spring Rolls and Pan Fried Pork and Chive Dumplings are also excellent choices for a satisfying appetizer.
Congee:
For a warming and nourishing meal, the congee is a fantastic choice. The Mixed Meat Congee and Sliced Fish Filet Congee are particularly popular. The congee is known for being smooth and flavorful, perfect for a casual lunch or a comforting dinner. Pairing it with a side of fried dough is a traditional and delicious way to enjoy it.
Hot Pot Rice:
For a more substantial and unique meal, the hot pot rice dishes are highly recommended. These are prepared in a traditional clay pot, with the rice cooked directly with the ingredients to absorb all the flavors. The Chicken Hot Pot Rice and Pork With Salty Fish Hotpot Rice are celebrated for their rich taste and the crispy layer of rice that forms at the bottom of the pot.
Noodle Village is a testament to the fact that great food doesn’t need a lot of fanfare. Its success is built on a foundation of tradition, quality, and a deep understanding of what makes a meal truly satisfying. For New Yorkers seeking a taste of authentic Hong Kong cuisine, or for anyone looking for a reliable and delicious meal in Chinatown, Noodle Village is an experience that consistently delivers. Its welcoming staff, efficient service, and exceptional food make it a true staple of the NYC food scene.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Reliable place for a standard Chinese meal. Nice clean, new spot with a relatively organized wait system. They give you a number and you wait until it's called. We were a party of 4 and waited ~ 15 min. What we got:- Wonton Noodle Soup: Standard, tasty, and a good value!- Mixed Meat Congee: Paired it with an additional piece of Fried Dough on the side. For me, the dough was a bit sweeter than and not as savory as I liked, however, it was still nice to pair with the meal.- Fried Mantou: Like a deep fried sweet dough - perfect as a traditional app or for after the meal to curb your sweet tooth.- Pork Soup Dumplings: Really enjoyed them here! The skin isn't thick at all, which was perfect.- Curry Fishballs: I'd SKIP - it was simply 2 small skewers of 6 fishballs for $11! We were expecting a bowl of fishballs with curry sauce, which is how it traditionally is.Overall, l'd return for another yummy, casual meal with great staff (English speaking) and a solid meal!
July 05 · Veronica LeongIt was a pleasantly surprising dining experience! The staff were so friendly and helped me choose my dishes keeping in mind my dietary restrictions. Very fast service. The food quality is 10/10. We had ordered the shrimp dumplings, egg and chicken fried rice, beef curry Ramen. Will be definitely visiting again.
August 14 · Sadia ChowdhuryNo Frills place to satisfy your Wonton Noodles cravings! Love their noodles texture! Don't sleep on their Beef Chow Fun either . Service is quick and friendly. Worth a visit!
August 17 · J WPossibly the best Hong Kong style clay pot rice and beef brisket in NYC, approved by a Hongkonger. Finally checked Noodle Village off my list, and I can confirm they’re serving very authentic Cantonese dishes. I went on a weekend and the place was packed, which says a lot about how good the food is.Portions were generous, and prices were super reasonable. We spent around $50, and the food could’ve easily fed four people.*Chinese Sausage Clay Pot Rice 臘味煲仔飯 $16.50They really didn’t skimp on the meat – we got lap cheong, (臘腸), yun cheong (膶腸), and cured duck (臘鴨). The whole bottom turned into a layer of golden crispy rice. Just a heads-up, the soy sauce is quite salty, so don’t pour too much.*Braised Beef Brisket& Tendon 原汁牛腩/牛筋 $16Both the brisket and the tendon were incredibly tender. The sauce was rich and savory, perfect over a bowl of white rice or noodles.*Shrimp & Pork Wonton Noodle Soup 鮮蝦雲吞河粉 $10.75They are best known for their congee and wonton noodles. The wontons were on the smaller side, but each one was packed with fresh shrimp and pork filling, wrapped in a thin skin.*Steamed Rice Roll w. Peanut Butter & Hoisin Sauce 混醬腸粉 $7.50It had just the right amount of mixed sauces (unpopular opinion: too much sauce kind of ruins it for me lol). The steamed rice rolls weren’t the smoothest I’ve had, but they definitely hit the spot and satisfied the craving.
August 16 · Ruby ChanThe place was already bustling when we arrived around 11 a.m. We ordered wonton soup, soup dumplings, and hot pot rice. The wonton soup had a fresh, delicate flavor, and I especially enjoyed it with a dash of chili oil. The sausages in the hot pot were a bit salty, but they paired well with the rice. The rice at the bottom had a delightful crispiness to it. The soup dumplings had a soft, chewy exterior, and the flavorful broth inside was delicious.I also had fun watching the turtles at the entrance, though they seemed determined to escape!
