Absolutely loved this place! Super fast service and the pizza lives up to the hype. The classic Margherita is where it’s at—perfectly balanced with fresh basil, rich tomato sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. Honestly, I’d stick with that every time. Tried the Buffalo slice too, and it was okay, but not nearly as memorable. If you’re nearby, it’s definitely worth the stop—just go for the classics!

I wanted to try this pizza joint because it’s my goal to sample all the vegan pizza on offer. And impressively, they offer four different vegan slices (and seven vegan varieties if you want pies). I should have gotten the plain cheese slice because that’s a good baseline as an intro, but instead I got the margarita, and it had a nice thin crispy crust and chunks of tomato on it, and I thought it was good (although with tomato chunks rather than sauce, I can’t speak to the sauce, yet). Not great, but good. But to really provide a full assessment of this place, I have to go back again and try several other vegan slices because I really appreciate their effort to offer this and so to do a justice I have to try all of them

Stopped in after learning Bourdain had reviewed the place. Great assortment of pies and styles of pizza, if you have a "favorite" kind - chance are its on the slices rack ready to go. I opted for a pair of good old fashioned plain slices to go, and was not disappointed. We are from Philly, which is also known for great pizza - but this did not disappoint. Thin crust, crispy enough to not flop but still soft under the exterior - generous amount of cheese. Would absolutely eat again. Oh, and the pricing is reasonable (esp for NYC) and they refused to take a tip. Very nice and helpful counter staff. A+

Overall, a great pizza choice close to MSG. They have plenty of options available and their service is fast and efficient. They did seem busy on a Thursday afternoon so that speaks to the quality of their food and service. Considering how many pizza options are available in NYC, this is a great option to get your grub on

NY Suprema Pizza in NYC is an interesting spot that seems to attract a crowd, likely due to its prime location. However, I think there are much better pizza options around the city that deserve more attention.The restaurant itself doesn't quite hit the mark in terms of cleanliness. Having to ask for someone to come clean the table felt off, and that made me question the overall attention to detail in the service. On top of that, we were asked to leave after finishing our meal because, as the staff said, "other people want to sit." This gave off a bit of a rushed, impersonal vibe.One thing I do appreciate, though, is their inclusion of vegan pizza options. While I personally didn't enjoy their vegan slices, it's always a positive to see restaurants offering something for a variety of diets. It’s great for those who are looking for vegan options, even if the flavor didn’t hit the mark for me.Overall, I wouldn't consider NY Suprema Pizza a staple. It’s more of a convenient place to grab a slice before hopping on the train, but it’s definitely on the pricier side. Then again, that's the reality of NYC pizza prices. If you're in a rush or nearby, it could be worth stopping by, but if you're seeking out the best slice in the city, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
