Dine-in: The restaurant has counter service and some seating available for those who want to enjoy their panini in the lively atmosphere. It's a great choice for solo dining or a quick, casual lunch with friends.
Takeaway: Given the fast-paced nature of the area, many customers opt for takeaway. The paninis are well-packaged, making them easy to enjoy on the go. The generous size of each panini means they can even be shared for a less-messy, on-the-go experience.
Delivery: Pisillo provides both regular and no-contact delivery options, bringing their incredible sandwiches right to your home or office. This is a perfect solution for a business lunch or a cozy night in when you’re craving a taste of Italy.

What truly sets Pisillo Italian Panini apart from other sandwich spots in the city is the dedication to quality and authenticity.
Authentic Italian Paninis: The menu features over 30 different paninis, each named after an Italian city, such as the "Roma," "Milano," and "Napoli." They are made with imported Italian meats, cheeses, and vegetables, and served on outstanding, fresh-baked bread that is crispy on the outside and soft inside. Unlike some places, they serve what many call a hero, not a flat-pressed panini, which allows them to pack a huge amount of fresh ingredients inside.
Generous Portions: The paninis are famously large and incredibly filling. Many customers note that one sandwich is often enough for two people, offering incredible value for the price. The "Pisillo Panini" in particular is a customer favorite, combining prosciutto di parma, porchetta, buffalo mozzarella, and roasted peppers for a truly epic meal.
Fresh and High-Quality Ingredients: Reviews consistently highlight the freshness of the ingredients. From the perfectly fresh mozzarella to the flavorful roasted peppers and prosciutto, every component is chosen for its quality. The sauces and spreads, while sometimes a bit messy, are noted for their incredible flavor that complements the fillings perfectly.
Vegetarian Options: Pisillo offers a dedicated "Vegetarian Panini" with sun-dried tomatoes, roasted peppers, artichokes, and arugula, as well as other options like the "Ancona" and "Campobasso" paninis, ensuring that vegetarian diners have plenty of delicious choices.
Desserts and Sides: In addition to the main attraction, the menu includes a variety of classic Italian sides and desserts, such as sfogliatelle, cannoli, and various biscotti and tarts. These are perfect for finishing off your meal with a sweet, authentic treat.
Cash Only Policy: A key feature to note is that Pisillo is a cash-only establishment. However, they have an ATM inside for the convenience of their customers, so you can easily get cash if needed.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The ingredients all compliment each other so well and are incredibly fresh. Bread was outstanding. Great portion for the price. Cannot recommend this spot enough.
July 19 · Ted HensonWe had a great time with the sandwich & service!Ordered the Pisillo - slightly messy but not at all hard to eat. The sauces dropped everywhere so definitely get extra napkins. Amazing bread and fillings. If the sauces could get soaked by the bread as we consume, that would be exceptional!PS: cash only! Be ready!** amazing staff! Exceptional hospitality!
May 30 · Eileen MaI can say as a Brooklynite, without exaggeration, that this is currently my favorite place to eat food from in NYC. I used to work in this neighborhood, and now that I don't, I still think about these sandwiches at least once a week. I'm not going to claim you'll leave feeling as strongly as I do, but I do believe that if you like Italian sandwiches, you'll be highly satisfied by this place. You can't really go wrong with whatever option you go for. My favorite is the Ariccia, but I've tried six or seven of these sandwiches and loved all of them. You're safe to go for whatever you think sounds tastiest to you on the menu. These sandwiches are also big. As someone whose stomach has been called a bottomless pit, eating a full sandwich at a time is doable, but I highly recommend splitting it between two meals or sharing it with someone. All in all, I cannot recommend this place highly enough!
March 21 · Greg WeilThe best Italian PANNINI. we got the #26 Pisillo. TO DIE FOR. bread was very fresh. Only gripe is the hard wooden stools but very minor issue.
August 22 · Stephen DiBariDayuuummmmmmmm. As you can see pisillo is excellent. This sandwich’s dimensions are approximately LWH 1.5’ x 5” x 4” worth it every time. 4 stars for atmosphere because a group of youngsters walked in and flooded the place with their “vibez”
