Navigating the menu at RYNN is an adventure in itself, with a blend of classic Thai dishes and modern, creative reinterpretations. Here’s a guide to what is truly worth choosing for a memorable meal.
For a refreshing and unique start, the Tum Strawberry is a must-try. This strawberry salad with a spicy dressing and peanuts is a surprising and delicious twist on a classic, earning praise for its refreshing and vibrant flavors. The Peek Gai (crispy chicken wings) and the La Tiang (sautéed shrimp and pork in an egg nest) are also great choices for appetizers, perfect for sharing.
When it comes to main courses, the menu offers a range of options that highlight the restaurant's culinary skill. The Nua Yang Jaew (grilled ribeye steak) is a standout, praised for its perfect tenderness and flavor, and it pairs beautifully with the traditional roasted rice dipping sauce. Another crowd-pleaser is the Khao Soi, a northern Thai dish with crispy chicken and sautéed curry egg noodles that is both hearty and flavorful.
For those who love curry, the Panang Ped (roasted duck panang curry with flatbread) and the Massaman Curry are rich, aromatic, and deeply satisfying. Seafood lovers should consider the Crabmeat Omelet or the Golden Prawns for a taste of the sea with a unique Thai twist.
And of course, no Thai meal is complete without a noodle dish. While the Pad Thai is a classic, the Pad See Ew and Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) are also highly recommended for their distinct flavors and generous portions.
To complete your experience, don't skip the desserts and drinks. The Thai Tea Crème Brûlée is a creative fusion that is both familiar and innovative, and the Mango Sticky Rice is a classic done exceptionally well. As for drinks, their craft cocktails, like the bourbon-based "Not a Mango Season," are a perfect way to start or end your meal. The Thai Iced Tea is also a standout, described by some as the best they've ever had.
In a city filled with countless Thai restaurants, RYNN distinguishes itself with its creative menu, impeccable service, and a welcoming atmosphere that feels both intimate and inclusive. It's a place where you can enjoy classic comfort food while also discovering new and exciting flavors, all while supporting a unique and community-focused business.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1****Long Read!****Strong drink nice bourbon and good steak dip.We came for restaurant menu week, good $16 cocktail deal. But the service felt very rushed, we were trying to enjoy and eat the food but the dessert got served before we can finish our entree?? Our table still had our Nua Yang Jaew and we were served ice cream... Our table is right by the ac, ice cream is melting, steak is still on the table. Server timing is very bad, we felt very unpleasantly treated. There was three of us and we shared everything it was perfect pieces of wings and drums and egg nets.Anyway, the bathroom is nice and I liked the chicken wings, spicy sauces were delish for the shrimp and pork with egg net, though I did not get any shrimp in my egg net. Strawberry salad was a good try! Refreshing and had tomatoes and roasted peanut was such a good touch! Khao Soi had good fried chicken but wow the noodles all got clumped together so fast. idk why every dish had to come one right after the other, we had a reservation, and the restaurant had lots of tables available, it was not as if there's a waitlist of ppl. We did not want to lash out at the restaurant but we feel very upset afterwards replaying our experience.
August 09 · Amanda WangOne of the best Thai foods I have ever ate in NYC! Small spot, very intimate and cozy! Foods were amazing! There were four of us and all four foods came out delicious! Appetizer and dessert were delicious!! The drinks were aromatic and tasty!!
July 11 · Duy LeVery delicious and I can definitely see myself going back again. The pad Thai is one of the best I had I the city. The prawn plate was ok.The soft shell crab is very crispy but it’s seasonal, would love it to be on the regular menu.Pork belly is very flavorful. Taste more Chinese than Thai.drinks are on the priced side so I got a beer.
August 12 · ShuangerThe duck curry w roti was excellent. I had a strawberry salad (similar to a green papaya salad but with strawberries and cape gooseberries instead) that rocked my world. The boo choy side was fresh and steamed perfectly. I wish i also had time to try the crab fried rice, but had to head to a show. There is an extensive cocktail list with a lot of thai offerings. I had a drink with fresh pandan in it that was straight out of bangkok. This is well thought out thai, the menu was extensive, presentation excellent. The waiter was extremely enthusiastic and passionate about the menu and drink menu and also welcoming. If you feel like thai beyond the standard takeout fare this is a good choice. Good for date night, eating alone, or friends. Make many reasons to go there!
June 07 · william quirkAs soon as I walked into the restaurant, I fell in love with the cozy vibe and warm lighting. For drinks, we ordered Thai iced tea and Tum Strawberry, and for the main courses, we tried Kra Prao Ribeye and Kee Mao. Everything was absolutely delicious! The Tum Strawberry was a delightful surprise, especially when paired with the spicy sauce and topped with nuts. It was a good combo that really whetted the appetite. The Kee Mao was another highlight; I loved its flavorful sauce. The calamari and shrimp were perfectly seasoned, complementing the noodles with just the right amount of spice. My friend ordered the ribeye, which came with rice, and it was equally impressive. The meat was tender, well-seasoned, and the portion was just right. Good enough to fill you up.The only downside of this place is the price. With what we ordered, it came to over $50 per person after tips and tax :/Overall, this dining experience was wonderful, and I highly recommend it—just be prepared for the cost!
