Sabi Sushi at The Plaza Food HallA medium sized counter at the Plaza Hotel that sells japanese food: 🍣sushi🐟, teriyaki🍱, and Udon. Today i decided to try it out for the first time. I had the udon🍜 with pork🐷 dumplings. Overall very good. The broth is a miso based broth. As usual with Japanese food, only a minimal amount of vegetables🍠🌽🍆. There was a tiny bit of seaweed in the soup. Overall though the soup was excellent! 💙 - O V H

Its prime location makes it an ideal spot for locals and visitors alike who are looking for a quick and satisfying meal. The atmosphere is casual and designed for efficiency, catering to the bustling crowd of commuters from Penn Station and those attending events at Madison Square Garden.

While the name might suggest a focus solely on sushi, Sabi Sushi offers a more comprehensive menu of Japanese comfort food. Diners can find a range of options, from classic sushi rolls and nigiri to hot dishes like teriyaki and udon noodles. This variety ensures that whether you're craving a light and fresh meal or something warm and hearty, there's a choice for you. Customer feedback provides a mixed but insightful view of the establishment. One review praised the udon with pork dumplings, highlighting the "excellent" miso-based broth and the overall good quality of the food. This positive experience points to the flavor and satisfaction found in Sabi Sushi's hot food offerings. However, another review expressed serious concerns about hygiene, citing a cook's handling of food without washing hands. This negative feedback, while serious, highlights the importance of consistency in food preparation and customer experience, a challenge for any fast-paced food hall vendor.
