While the a la carte menu offers excellent options, the undeniable star of Sanyuu West is the Omakase experience. This is what you come for, and it is where the exceptional value and artistry truly shine. The 15-course option is highly recommended by customers, as it provides a comprehensive journey through the chef’s best selections. For the quality and number of courses, the price is often called an "unbeatable" deal in the city's omakase scene.
Within the omakase menu, you can expect to be delighted by a range of incredible pieces. Customers have raved about specific highlights, including the Chutoro (medium fatty tuna), the rich and creamy Uni (sea urchin), and the tender Hotate (scallop). These items are often standout dishes for their freshness and flavor. Another great option is to explore the variety of offerings, from marinated bluefin tuna to striped jack and eel, all expertly prepared. After the meal, the unique ability to reorder your favorite pieces from the a la carte menu means you can indulge in a second serving of that one piece that blew you away. This is a particularly noteworthy feature that enhances the entire dining experience. For dessert, if available, the homemade earl grey and sea salt soft serve is a unique and delicious way to finish your meal. Ultimately, what is worth choosing at Sanyuu West is the full immersion into a world of incredible, high-quality sushi that is both a culinary adventure and an incredible value.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Recently had the pleasure of enjoying my first omakase experience at Sanyuu West, and it truly exceeded expectations. The dedicated chef assigned to our party crafted one masterpiece after another, all prepared right in front of us. The atmosphere was calm and inviting - perfect for a special dinner. At $78, the 15-course meal felt like great value and surprisingly accessible. To top it off, guests were offered the option to reorder their favorite dishes from the à la carte menu at the end.
May 03 · Robin MeertensThis place is my new favorite spot for omakase. Fish to rice ratio was perfect. Watching an artist paint a masters piece by piece, the flavor profile is amazing, each piece was better that the last piece. $78 for 15 course is really good.
April 21 · Samnang SamI enjoyed this place, until I didn’t. It took me a while to write this review because, unfortunately, the experience wasn’t the best for me. At the beginning of our meal, the sushi chef went to the back with their gloves still on and returned about three minutes later without changing them. If I could wipe that image from my mind, I would say the sushi was delicious, but overall, the service left much to be desired. In addition, our chef was running behind, so by the time everyone else had finished, we had not. As a result, toward the end of our meal, we were being rushed out.
April 28 · Jessica ONew favorite Omakase in town. The seating is 1hr but didnt feel rushed. 15 courses for the price of $78/pp is very decent. and they didnt cut the quality of the pieces. they have some really premium pieces like uni toro toast , toro with foie gras. all the fish pieces are pretty generous portion and very flavorful and balanced.
March 12 · Alex ZhangFor $78 for 15 courses, you really can't beat this value! All the delicious fresh fish (with specialty ingredients like uni, foie gras, etc.) and the usual cozy omakase experience for half the price of other places.
