★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I took a 20 minute drive across town, during rush hour, to try this place out. A colleague told me that the macaroni and cheese was top tier so I wanted to try them out. It took me a few minutes to find it because it doesn’t look like a restaurant at first glance. It looks more like a beautifully decorated boutique of some sort. I walked in and then walked out. I took some steps back toward the curb to match the address on the sign with the one in my phone. The address matched so I walked back in.I was greeted by a very polite young man and was offered the menu for the day (the menu changes every day). I ordered Salmon with macaroni and cheese, salad (lettuce & tomato), and a passion fruit juice. It was approximately a 15 minute wait (I was offered a seat), and then the young man who greeted me and took my order brought my food and drink out and told me to have a nice day. When I opened my food the presentation was ok. It was a healthy portion of mac & cheese, an average size portion of salmon, and a really small portion of salad. I ate the macaroni first and it was really good. It was moist and well seasoned. The salad tasted really fresh and it was good. The salmon is where it all went wrong. I broke a small piece off with my fork to taste it and the taste was really good. It was well seasoned and had a great tasting garlic sauce. When I went to break off another piece I noticed that the salmon had a reddish pink appearance (more red than pink). I broke the fish up some more and noticed that the same color appeared throughout. It look like farmed raised fish and at this point I couldn’t eat it.Overall, the flavor of the food was really good. The passion fruit juice was amazing as well as the customer service, but charging $25 for a meal which included farm raised salmon is absurd. I can only imagine how expensive it is to run a restaurant but quality ingredients should be a priority.I wish you guys the best of luck. I would recommend their macaroni and cheese and passion fruit juice.
June 11 · Brandi ClarkI ordered from Uber Eats. I was excited to try because I went through the reviews and it kept popping up for months but unfortunately, it wasn’t good. Honestly, I ended up being nauseous all night and as of 3 am just started feeling better I ordered at 6 pm last night. The Mac and cheese was overcooked and over seasoned and the chicken was like when a beginner starts learning to cook. I wish them the best but I won’t try again.
July 23 · Leslie AdamsI was really excited to try this spot out since i heard so many good reviews on their instagram, decided to order two mini lunches on uber eats( the buy one get one free) i ordered chicken tenders and mac and cheese which was delicious. But the tostones and shrimp i literally got 4 tostones and 4 pieces of shrimp literally counted i know is supposed to be a mini lunch but that was definitely not enough food to even be considered that. I was so looking forward to it too, now even though i got like 8 pieces of food in total with that one the flavor was good. Not sure if its cause buy one get one free they barely gave any food but if that’s the case please don’t have the promo then. Overall the flavor is there, portions not so much.
August 11 · Genesis AncianyI placed my order on UberEats and unfortunately received the complete wrong order. I didn’t receive not one thing that I ordered from the large build your own plate. I ordered the sautéed chicken with chimichurri sauce, bbq ribs,Mac attack, and baked ziti which I was really looking forward to trying but all I received was rice and a few pieces of boneless fried chicken. I also ordered a strawberry shortcake cup that I didn’t receive as well. I was so disappointed as I was really looking forward to trying out this place. 😕
