★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Ingredients are good. The mixian are correctly textured which is rare.To improve: Yunnan has a wide variety of mixian styles. The offering represents a very limited central subset. Modifications are priced distressingly. The relatively rigid menu detracts strongly from the quality of the ingredients. The tofu is OK but overpriced and the Americanized sauce is not a valid addition. Absence of zhiergen is notable and disappointing. I would have liked to see southern Dehong/Lincang/Banna/Wenshan styles. No veg options. The high energy jpop inspired soundtrack could do with a rethink.
May 20 · WalterAuthentic Yunnan cuisine. Every dish was delicious and flavorful. The dry stir-fry beef was the best - the fresh mint added a distinctive flavor. The portions were on the smaller side but as a result we got to try more dishes. Will come back.
June 29 · Billy XiaThe best (the best... best... est... st) grilled pork collar in town!!! Being really fastidious in food and being Chinese would irrefutable put me in an unbiased position to rate SOTC (South of the Cloud) and based on the noodles and sliced pork neck, I say this place is a hidden gem!!! There aren't many seats around so do be prepared to wait if it gets crowded. Most of the patrons are Chinese given that the offerings here are authentic and very well-done.
March 06 · Vincent RedfieldI got the VERY SPICY Vegan noodles and yes! they were VERY SPICY!!! Did not disappoint!!! Generous portion, great taste. Noodles were thick and bouncy, the original yunnan rice noodles. Overall great experience here.
July 18 · Sapphira BellaWhen I entered the restaurant and until I left there is no other customer. Just me and 2 kids. They saw the water bottle is empty but waited me to ask for more water! When I prepared to leave I AM STILL SIT ON MY SEAT! the owner or maybe the waiter bring the cart to clean the table. I have to move my stuff so he can wiped the table🤣I gave 20% gratitude for my order but I DIDNT receive the proper services! I come with 2 kids I don’t want to trouble myself. I regret I gave the tips for him already!!!!but obvious I understand why there are no one dine in on busy lunch time but Only 2 delivery order. The food is ok anyway.
