★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Possibly the best vegan food in NYC. Their rotating menu consistently features inventive dishes with bold flavours and interesting ingredients. That they make such delicious, attractive food in such a tiny kitchen is something of a miracle. Truly a testament to the care and professionalism of the chef and his team.On a recent visit, we had the Lion's Mane Mushrooms with crispy yucca, the Fried Chick'n Sandwich and Romesco Toast. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented as always.Pricing is also very fair for what you get, a rarity in the city. The only downside here is that a dish you fall in love with might no longer be available the next time you go. Of course, it's safe to assume there'll be other amazing dishes to fall in love with.Run here, and often!
March 02 · Paul WongMy favorite vegan food in the whole city. Menu is constantly changing and it never disappoints with its fusion dishes that incorporate ingredients from Asian to Latin and more. Also happy to support a fellow Miami native! If you’re in the city, stop by for a complex highly unique and tasty vegan dish at this unassuming market style eatery! You will not be disappointed. See pictures from the past few times I’ve been.
October 03 · Haydee FigueroaI can throw as many superlatives as I want at this review - incredible, delicious, mind-expanding, delightful, unique, whatever - they all describe the experience we had!My wife and I both love mushrooms and were visiting from the UK so we only had a few days to explore different restaurants and this one was our favorite by far. Low key counter service from the chef, and only 10 or so seats in this outdoor space make it very intimate. The mushrooms themselves were prepared to give you a deep appreciation of them and also the possibilities that exist when cooking with different mushrooms! We had a lions mane dish and an king oyster dish - we agreed that both were in our top 5 mushrooms dishes of all time. I’d come back every week if I could! Don’t miss out! Go to this place if you have the chance!
November 03 · Sam ThomasDelicious and nuanced flavors. If you were served this at a fine dining restaurant, you would believe it. So it's an incredible rarity to find this flavorful, innovative, and well-plated food for these prices. The menu is somewhat limited but seasonal, so you'll keep finding something new all year. I asked Chef Chris why he decided to keep the menu fully vegan and appreciated his reasoning. Humble and friendly guy. Wishing him a lot of success!
October 08 · Raghav BA little booth at the Bowery street market offering an all vegan international menu. A one man show, food was made right in front of me as I pulled a stool by the bar and waited. I tried the chicken sandwich, a breaded deep fried home-made seitan patty in a burger bun. The pickled daikon radish slices were a beautiful addition and so was the scallion spread. Definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, check this place out.
