★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I love stopping by and grabbing a quick bite. I always get the three rolls which is so affordable for the quality. This time I got the Salmon, Spicy Shrimp and Tempura Shrimp. I didn’t need to use any soy sauce since everything was seasoned well (esp the Spicy Shrimp and Tempura Shrimp). There’s no tables inside since it’s meant to be for takeout but there is a small seating area that probably fits two people near the window. Definitely recommend!
April 05 · Nicole KimThis place came in highly recommended and lived up to the hype, went with a friend, we each got the 3 roll deal and I got a miso soup. It was all great, the guy who helped us was really nice and engaging, we got a little loyalty card that we’ll sure fill up! Great price point for NYC.
July 17 · Maria LiaOverall rating: 4.6Price: $13.06I came to visit after seeing a video that they had really affordable and filling sushi. I got the spicy tuna roll, shrimp tempura and special roll. I didn’t realize it was run by Australians which felt very unique. I read somewhere that the sushi is Australian-style which I’m not sure what that means exactly. I wish I ate at the place because I tried to eat on the go & my hands were freeeezzing. Eventhough the place was cute, the staff was friendly- I didn’t love the food. I don’t like spicy mayo a lot & it seems like they put it in everything. That said, I overheard someone mentioned the spam version & the staff said it was a seasonal item. So I now want to come back when it’s in season to try it!
March 03 · Olivia Ni was deeply surprised at how easy & delicious the sushi rolls were! spicy shrimp + salmon + spicy tuna were great!
June 05 · nina lThis place is phenomenal! The "Aussie" style hand rolls are essentially giant rolls of sushi!! It's a bonus that everything is 100% gluten free -- from the soy sauce to the teriyaki. They have so many options, too! My personal favorite was the volcano, but I also enjoyed the spicy tuna and chicken teriyaki. Note... the spicy does have a good kick to it!!I loved that the soy sauce was in a little dropper, which made it easy to eat and walk. The only thing I would say is that a lot of the rolls have avocado. My mom is allergic, so the salmon options she can have were cooked salmon, rather than raw. She still loved her rolls, specifically the sunshine, but just note if you have allergies you may not be able to get your 100% desired combo :)
