It was really nice.Last 1 was Ceviche.we were really disappointed as we were fish lover. The fish didn't seem fresh and the vinegar wasn't tasty.Although the server noticed the dirty side plates when bringing new food, he did not replace them until we asked. The side plates served were wet and not dry both times (including the first time). We were the only guests during our stay.Maybe the owner chef wasn't there on Sunday.
June 03 Β· Blue NYA little Gem in the neighborhood. Truly an amazing place. Such a joy of a place to discover. The food was really amazing and MUCH more than expected. The food was more sophisticated than what seems to be a simple menu. Our server Ian was fantastic! And we met the chef (who was EXTREMELY friendly also) Harold. Thank you guys!!!
May 18 Β· Mel MaghuyopWeβre visiting from the UK and work in the food industry. I can not explain how amazing the food is at this restaurant! Every single dish was freshly prepared and truthfully the best food Iβve ever eaten in my life. The flavours were exceptionally thought through, things I wouldnβt expect together that I canβt believe nobody thought of before. Watch out for this place being a future James Beard award winner and getting a Michelin star or two. Perfection!
August 10 Β· Louise MoyeWalking south from Lincoln Center and we stumbled upon a hidden gem. We were before the rush and got to talk to the owner/chef and was impressed with his menu and ability to deliver. We started with the salted cod and crab croquettes which were a perfect blend of creamy and crunchy. Then we had chorizo and gambas, the maduros we so thin and crispy perfectly seasoned with a little lemon juice and cilantro. The shrimp took on the wonderful smoky taste and the fat from the chorizo that made them buttery. Our third small plate was the cevich, the fish perfectly bright with the citrus and the smallest sweetness from what we guessed as mango. Our first main was a Lamb skewer, it was superbly cooked and soo tender. The potatoes and carrots complimented the meat giving it a mild crunch and satin creaminess. As our second main we had the pulpo which was expertly cooked and over an unexpected bed of lightly dressed fennel when combined with the acid from the tomatoes took this dish to the next level. We finished our meal with bread pudding and an another unexpected treat of white port (give it a try you'll enjoy it).If you are going to try it out make reservations only 6 tables and 6 bar seats.
