First and foremost, you absolutely must consider the fried chicken. It has achieved legendary status in the city and is consistently praised as one of the best around. Served with honey butter biscuits and slaw, it’s the perfect example of comfort food elevated to an art form.
For a more indulgent option, the dry-aged burger is another fan favorite. It's a classic for a reason, expertly cooked and served with a simple but delicious combination of cheese, grilled onions, and a secret sauce. the Dutch Reviews
Came here recently with a group of about 30 people for a work dinner hosted by one of our agency partners. The service was exceptional and they really took great care of us. With a larger party, I have observed sometimes, in past experiences, for it to be tough to manage it all i.e. not enough food, long wait to get the food, not enough room to get comfortable, etc. None of this was the case at the Dutch. We had ample seating, comfortably fitting our entire party in a space reserved for us within the restaurant. There was staff dedicated to our party (and ready right when we walked in) who were all delightful. The staff asked for our drinks promptly, and timed the appetizer, entrees, and dessert very well for a group of 30 people. The food came out hot, even the chocolate chip cookies were warm for dessert. Lastly, although we had a set menu and family style for our group, the staff asked for and accommodated any dietary restrictions i.e. gluten free pasta, plant based entree plate. I didn't even have to mention I wanted plant based for my dessert - they proactively brought out a duo of sorbets for me - goes to show how thoughtful and on top of things they were.I would highly recommend setting up a large party here for a dinner, lunch, whatever it may be. I would come back just for their food too because that was equally as great. I think the combination of both of these and the company made the night wonderful. Thank you to the team at the Dutch who was there for the Entenmanns and Little Bites private dinner group!!
