★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I absolutely loved Eleanor’s! The food was immaculate—I had to take some home because I couldn’t let a single bite go to waste. The fried fish was incredibly fresh and flavorful—literally finger-licking good. And the goat skewers? So tender they melted in my mouth. Don’t even get me started on the jollof… 10,000/10! I’ll definitely be back to visit Priscilla and Eleanor again soon!
May 17 · Bria ParkerFrom the esthetic, to the customer service, to the food, everything was 5 stars and more! The place is beautiful, customer service was amazing, and the food was just delicious. Real authentic African food. Definitely will be bringing my family here to try out everything else on their menu!Thank you!
June 21 · annel AcquahFive Stars Isn’t Enough — I’d Give This Place a Michelin Star and a Hug!So listen. I was born in America, raised on burgers, nuggets, and mac and cheese — but after one visit to the African Restaurant in Pelham, I’m convinced I was meant to be Ghanaian. My stomach said, “Welcome home.”My first visit was April 30th, and I brought my two-year-old, who, let’s be honest, is still a chicken finger connoisseur. Luckily, they had some just for him — complete with fries, so no toddler mutiny occurred. But me? Oh, I dove headfirst into the most glorious bowl of okra stew with goat meat and banku. You know how people say food can change your life? That stew made me reconsider all my life choices. I also got jollof rice (goat again, because I have taste) and a side of fufu to go, because apparently I was prepping for a flavor emergency. And the peanut soup? Spicy. Rich. Soul-warming. Honestly, it was so good I started side-eyeing my spoon for not being big enough. I took it to go and thought about it for WEEKS. I sent my husband back on May 23rd like a man on a mission — “Get me more okra stew and fufu, or don’t come home!”The drinks? Oh, the drinks. I had a lemon drop that could’ve powered a small vehicle, and I mean that in the best way. I also got a sorrel to go that had me texting all my friends, “Y’all ever tasted magic in a bottle?”There are SO many options on the menu, and the portions are big enough to feed you and the spirit of your ancestors. I’m already planning my next trip. If you haven’t been, what are you doing with your life? Run, don’t walk. And get the okra stew. No seriously, GET. THE. OKRA. STEW.— One Very Full and Very Happy American-Ghanaian-at-Heart
May 24 · shanika bernardI took my Mother here and it was the perfect choice. We are familiar with Ghanaian food but this Restaurant has its own unique flair. The food was AMAZING!!!!! We had the Light Soup and Okra Stew with fish😋 😋. The food portions are big. The atmosphere & decor are beautiful. What made it even better is Eleanor. She made us feel at home, asked us how we liked the food and even Sat down & had a conversation with us. Customer service was impeccable. I highly recommend!!!!
March 30 · Rukiya “Rukiya”Having never had Ghanan food before, i was wildly excited to try this restaurant. Priscilla our server was incredibly kind and helped me try Fufu for the first time with peanut stew and it was amazing! We also had jollof rice with goat and bean stew, absolutely out of this world! Probably the best beans I've ever had! Thank you so much for the amazing cuisine experience, we will be back!
