★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We dined here for my partners birthday and we both are mushroom lovers! We ordered:Beech ( we got the added truffles as the foragers corner but we didn’t realise it was $25 extra which was not worth it in our opinion)Lion’s ManeRamenBlue OysterLava Cake DessertAll the food was delicious and served at a good pace. It took us to loads of different cuisines and flavours. The staff were so lovely and even put a candle in the dessert for my partners birthday and gave us two free drinks which was so kind.Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves mushrooms!
April 15 · Eloise JrgQuirky, unique restaurant concept, centric on mushrooms, well-executed. The maikado dish and the blue oyster were highlights. Second place were the lion’s main dumplings. Third place was the mole - but it would probably be great for a mole enthusiast (the chef is from the mole region). Last place for me was the beech, which tasted like a lazy Mac & cheese.Overall, really enjoyed this restaurant! All vegan but super super interesting!Great atmosphere, better if you get a reservation.Portions are pretty good. 3-4 dishes for 2 people, 1-2 for 1 person.
May 19 · Isabella GrandicThe space looked interesting at first too — dim, kind of moody. But after 30 minutes, it just felt… dark and a little depressing.Service was fine, but food came out pretty slow. Here’s what we tried:• Bread & butter: Honestly, the best part of the meal. Super soft, warm, and flavorful.• Enoki salad: Too salty, didn’t really taste like mushrooms.• Morel mushroom sauce: Came with a yellow sauce — not bad, but not memorable either.• Main (Cauliflower mushroom + Blue Oyster mushroom): Too sweet overall, and the flavors didn’t really go together. Also, the mushrooms themselves weren’t rare or special enough to justify the price.I think if you really love mushrooms, you might be underwhelmed. The dishes were just kind of… basic. To top it off, a tiny bug flew into my glass near the end — not a dealbreaker, but in such low lighting, it’s not ideal.
August 02 · Maydonshoots10/10 dining experience. I wouldn’t change a thing and can’t wait to go back. The servers were so attentive and kind and the food was absolutely delicious. The ramen was my favorite but I loved everyone single bite of food. Anyone who appreciates mushrooms needs to eat here!
July 10 · Leah PascarellaIncredible dining experience - we enjoyed the chef food & wine pairing as the ending of a full day in NYC. It hit ALL the spots. Veggies, you’ve found a home. Meat-eaters, you will consider changing teams after a meal here. Amazing! Shout out to Drew & Paul for their passion and dedication to great service.
