★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We stumbled upon this place by accident and glad we didn't read some of the horrible the Google reviews or we would have missed out on an amazing meal with friends.I'm not sure what people are expecting but the food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection... all the way from the meatballs to the key lime pie.The wait staff was very attentive and friendly while ensuring that we enjoyed every moment.The place is very intimate and cozy that makes for a great opportunity to really sit and chat without all of the extra "noise."I would highly recommend checking out this place and giving it a chance.

August 16 · LAmazing hidden gem! I didn’t know it was here in my own neighborhood until HRW. Amazing service. Incredible food. Delightful charm. Unique dishes. Will be back for the seafood lasagna. The salad is unique and tasty with the best croutons I’ve ever had. Bread pudding is outstanding.
August 07 · Julia NovosadWe were in the area on an early Friday evening and found this highly rated nice Italian restaurant on Google maps. There is no parking in front to speak of but there is on the adjacent lot. Two young ung hostesses greeted us and seemed not sure whether to seat us or not since we didn’t have a reservation, even though there was plenty of empty tables. Frank, the chef/owner took over and seated us immediately. We started with the fried Calamari which was excellent, tender, perfectly seasoned, and a huge portion. I asked for an aioli dipping sauce instead of marinara but they didn’t have it. It’s an Italian restaurant but I prefer aioli with my calamari, but I have to say the marinara was really nice- not sweet like some are. My husband ordered the Pasta Bolognese ($42) which was full of meat but in chunks, not ground, which was a little surprising, but flavorful. It was served with Rigatoni pasta instead of spaghetti - my husband would have preferred spaghetti noodles and a more traditional Bolognese, and it was pricy but it did have beef tenderloin in it. I ordered a special of seared Chilean Sea Bass with crab claws in a butter sauce($45?), with a side of veges and asparagus and it was really nice although a little more fishy tasting than I thought Chilean sea bass was typically. The bass has a nice crust and the sauce was divine. We took home a cassata cake and it was nice too. You can tell the love Chef Frank puts into his cooking. He was very nice and welcoming, and attentive as was the waiter. The atmosphere was nice, cozy, but a little too bright. By the way, you can bring your own wine for a $10 cork fee. We will definitely return.
May 24 · Kerri NowowiejskiMe and some friend went to this restaurant as our monthly night out trying restaurants we’ve never been. I had my eye on this one for a while and I’m so glad it didn’t disappoint! The food was delicious!!! I got the bolognese since I thought it looked interesting, it has brisket, sausage and beef tenderloin .. and it was amazing, hitting all the notes I needed! . Not so easy to find a good and true talian place around, so I was very excited. The portions are big, which helps with the pricing, is not cheap but also not over the board. The dessert we got was the Cassata cake with strawberries which wasn’t so great, however, the Tiramisu…. OMG so good! Creamy, with strong espresso flavor and the kahlua brings everything together. We pair our food with the Prisoner Cabernet and it was perfect! Definitely coming back!
