The primary reason to visit is the incredible beer selection. As a customer review noted, the bar is a haven for beer lovers, with a constantly rotating selection of brews that appeal to both casual drinkers and true connoisseurs. The availability of mead and a variety of sours, as highlighted in a review, shows a dedication to an adventurous and diverse beverage program. Beyond the drinks, the food menu is another compelling reason to visit. While simple, the offerings are a perfect example of comfort food done right. The Angus Beef Sliders and hand-cut fries are described as "good, hot, yummy" and "not too spectacular or fancy," which is precisely the point. The food is comforting and reliable, just like a home-cooked meal, making it the perfect companion for a great beer. This focus on simple, well-executed dishes ensures that every bite is satisfying and complements the overall drinking experience. The staff's genuine friendliness and extensive knowledge of the menu, both food and drink, contribute significantly to this positive experience. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Valhalla... what can I say? Awesome.Listed as a "dive bar". I've been in a few dives. Valhalla is more folksy than dive.Probably the perfect place if you're a Minnesota Vikings fan. Lots of homage paid to Nordic culture. No problem with that.On to the experience. Found myself in the mood for some mead. One of the very knowledgeable and super cool bartenders set me up with a tasty and enjoyable mead flight. The sweet meads got the taste buds for something a little sour. Fortunately the bar has a few sour options on tap.I saw about 15 brews on tap...and a nice selection of NY whiskey at the bar.Ordered some sliders and fries. Gotta sate the appetite and keep the booze buzz at bay.The munchies came out in under 15 minutes. Good, hot, yummy. Nothing too spectacular or fancy. Just a good good burger like one would get at a bud's house on a Friday night when the game is on.Really cool vibe, just a laid-back atmosphere. It's located in Manhattan's Hell's Kitchen, I believe.Stayed about three hours.Had the mead flight, the meal, two sours, a stout and a pour of rye to cap things off.Came to about $85 including 15 tip.
July 04 · Taurus MichelWhether you are a tourist or a local, this place got you (beer selection wise). Personally, I like their options of lager and kölsch. My partner and I were here at their happy hour (I think, between 2-5pm; you need to check). Friendly bartenders, not too loud (at least during the time when we were there), and clean bathroom(s).
June 20 · Natta AMy favorite bar in Hell's Kitchen. The beer collection is great and the atmosphere is warm, cozy, and happening. With a combination of Rock and pop music there are televisions with baseball on them. I love their Wheat beer collection and sours. The food is great but I feel it's a little overpriced.
July 25 · Samrudha DixitGreat place.. Amazing Service!! Very friendly staff
April 19 · Nirmal DasService was amazing . Definitely took care of you . The vibe was chill which is also cool . French fries was very good even though it was very basic . But the wing was trash . I’m sorry . I can’t be professional with my review . The wings was completely disgusting. The sauce tasted like it’s been sitting for awhile . I love the mead though . Odins Skull is my favorite
