Visiting from Texas and I’m a former BBQ restaurant owner. Had the Brisket nachos and 1/2 rack of pork spare ribs. The nachos were okay, but would have liked to have seen a little more brisket on them, and they should leave the bbq sauce off, or at least ask. The ribs were almost inedible. Grossly undercooked and tough. Covered in sauce and no rub to speak of. The sauce wasn’t my cup of tea, so I wish they would leave it off. Service was good and it’s a neat looking place, but barbecue… not.

Our experience here was very satisfying and grateful. The food was delicious, as was the service. They said it would take 25 to 30 minutes to wait because it was Sunday, but in reality it was like 20 minutes. The food arrived quickly when we ordered. We had an amazing experience at Westwoods BBQ! The food was absolutely perfect — full of flavor, fresh, and cooked to perfection. And the frozen margaritas were the cherry on top — the perfect way to end the meal on a high note.We arrived late, but the staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. They didn’t rush us at all and made sure we had the full experience, even close to closing time. You can tell they really care about their guests.Highly recommend this place — great food, great drinks, and genuinely kind service!

It was a special treat to go to Westwoods BBQ. My wife and I were out and decided to have an early dinner. We’ve eaten here before, but I’m taking the time to share my opinion of this experience.We ordered the Ultimate Platter to share. It came with half a chicken, three St Louis ribs, hot link, brisket, house sweet pickles and onions, and two sides. We picked the scalloped potatoes and beans.The service was really good. Our waitress attended to our needs and provided her honest opinion on some of the sides.The flavor of the food was really good. Where it lacked, the meat was cold to barely warm. It was disappointing. The potatoes and beans were quite warm and tasted freshly made. The hot link was the coldest and had no warmth at all. I told our waitress about the food being cold and all she said is that she’d let them know.
