Choosing ARIARI is a decision that guarantees a high-quality and satisfying dining experience, and there are several key reasons why it's a top choice for anyone in New York. First and foremost is the exceptional food. The menu's diversity, combining authentic comfort food like Galbi-Jjim Deopbap with unique, innovative dishes like fried sea eels, sets it apart from other Korean restaurants. The rave reviews from customers speak for themselves, highlighting the rich and complete flavors and the perfect textures of their dishes. The fact that their "fried sea eels" are a standout dish and something not seen elsewhere is a testament to the kitchen's creativity and skill.
Beyond the food, the service is a major reason to choose ARIARI. The staff's attentiveness and friendliness, as noted in a review, create a welcoming and comfortable environment. They are not just serving food; they are providing a genuine and thoughtful experience. This level of hospitality, from helping with personal belongings to offering tips on how to enjoy the meal, makes a huge difference and fosters a sense of being truly cared for as a guest. This kind of service can elevate a simple meal into a memorable occasion.
The atmosphere also plays a crucial role. The casual, cozy, and trendy vibe makes it a great spot for any occasion, whether it's a date night or a casual meal with family. The option to make reservations is a significant advantage in a popular area like the East Village, where long waits can be common. This allows for better planning and a more relaxed dining experience. The restaurant’s ability to cater to different dining needs, from solo meals to group dinners, further adds to its appeal.
Finally, the comprehensive offerings, including a full bar with beer, cocktails, and wine, make it a complete dining destination. Paired with a delicious meal, the drink selection ensures that you can enjoy a full evening out without needing to go elsewhere. For all these reasons—the incredible food, the outstanding service, the inviting atmosphere, and the diverse offerings—ARIARI is hands down one of the best Korean restaurants in Manhattan and a place well worth choosing.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1One of the best Korean restaurants in Manhattan, hands down.We ordered pork shoulder & stomach soup, fried sea eels, and seafood pancake. The flavors blended so well together and felt so complete, and the texture was right on point. I was especially impressed with the fried sea eels, a perfect combination of crunchy and soft, sweet and salty. I hadn't seen this dish anywhere else so credits to the restaurant's creativity. Our waiter was very attentive, friendly and thoughtful. I brought a box coming in and he helped me put it away before dining. After we were done, he brought the box out along with a big paper bag (containing my leftover pancake) so that I could put my box in and carry it more easily. The lady who brought our receipt was very friendly as well.Overall, incredible food and service! I'd love to come back and try other dishes on their diverse menu.
August 10 · Chau GiangSo glad my friend and I were lucky enough to get seated at this restaurant with no reservation. I wanted to order the Mak-Hwe, but the Seafood Butter Gui was much more tempting especially in terms of portion. The seafood melts in your mouth and the pita was nice and chewy w. a crisp. Be sure to order yourself the complimentary Seoul Night bottle they have on special when you download/pay through the Blackbird app. The service was on point and so was their dessert!
June 26 · Glo SongA friend recommended this place; service was wonderful and food was just as great! They recommended 2-3 dishes per person but honestly, one each was good enough for us to share. The servers were knowledgeable of their dishes, attentive, and welcoming. Their menu is very different from typical Korean restaurants you would find in SoCal, so this was a nice change! I highly recommend the dolsot and scallop gimbap
July 03 · Sophie LeeMy wife and I had had a great dinner at ARIARI. This was not our first time there but it’s pleasant to see that quality in food and service has not waned. Waitstaff were warm and welcoming, topping off the complimentary kimchi appetizer often and refilling our water. The food itself has always been very tasty and we were able to try a few new things on the menu this time. Usually the review is just about the food, but their service created an exceptional dining experience that I don’t feel too often these days when at other restaurants anywhere.
June 20 · Alex HoWent to dinner with my Korean wife and she enjoyed every bite. We started with the mak-hwe, highly recommend!! It’s really fresh and all the sides complimented the fish very well. We also got a fried soft shell crab, if you like soft shell crab, this is a must!! We also got their signiture dol sot albap, there’s a fun table side mixing going on- MUST ORDER! Ended with their spicy fish stew and I will come back just for this dish!!
