★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Oh NYC, you're so overrated and overpriced. Very loud, dark, tapas restaurant with of course attitude from the staff. A couple long communal tables (don't like) a few seats at the bar and a few at the window. Fortunately, grabbed (literally)seats by the window. We had a few small uninspired plates - beet salad with pistachios, smoked trout and few cheeses.(see my terrible photos) It was OK...just. They have a nice wine selection but difficult to find a bottle under a $100 (see photo). Fly to Spain to see how it's done. Depending on the wine it may cost you the same. Dined, March 2023. That’s all for now.
November 28 · Douglas PierottiGreat little spot! We sat at the wine bar. The ambiance was enjoyable, music is not too loud. The sommelier gave us great suggestions for wine. Some of the dishes were a miss (paella croqueta and pulpo a la plancha, namely) but we totally fell in love with the fluke crudo, creamy eggs, and bone marrow. Another thing to note, the food temperature was a bit inconsistent, and some dishes that needed to be hot, arrived lukewarm.Overall though, we had a very enjoyable dinner and would come back to try other dishes from the menu.
July 05 · Lisa GHad marinated mussels, board of 6 different kinds of cheese 🧀, plate of jamon, and 5 glasses of white wine from Jerez. I was enjoying it, it was delicious and fun. And of course, the best churros 😋 for dessert I've ever tried. I didn't ask for my servers name, but she was super nice and very knowledgeable. I'm definitely coming back and bringing more people.
July 31 · Dijana BajaI was looking forward to trying this place given its attractive location near Irving Place.A very unpleasant hostess, who clearly was looking to go home, told me the bar was closed, despite being within their posted hours (and many tables present). I certainly won’t rush back, given a bad ambassador at the front of the house (see more reviews about impolite service).
July 22 · David FilerA generous pouring keeps the patrons returning.Stopped by for a night cap post dinner. After a brief wait at the bar, we were seated outside. The brought our drinks that we ordered at the bar to our table. The wines were all excellent, you can’t go wrong with closing your eyes and selecting any of the glasses. And the pours were generous, much more so than many other restaurants. The wine tasting brought knowledgeable insight for the vineyard. The waiter was prompt, friendly, and humorous. The jamon on point. I’d like to come back and try all their other dishes because they did look delicious.
