★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Solid food in a welcoming space open to the street and yet slightly isolated from it. The menu focuses on reproducing Spanish food, and does it well, but frankly nothing blew my mind. I had high expectations for the grilled iberico, but it was quite plain and salty, I didn't get any of the complex flavors that this type of pork is known for. The cheesecake with blue cheese was great for a bite, but despite being made really well, the blue cheese was just too intense and could have benefited from a cup of coffee or glass of wine to cut it.
August 10 · Javier KohenI don’t leave reviews but this place blew me away. The filet mignon was unreal, the Gilda is a must & the anchovies on butter?! Literal perfection. I’ll be dreaming about the tomatoes and chicharrones. The staff was so friendly & explained everything so well.. it’s one of those few places you can feel the love & care in every bite. Felt like I was on a little European vacation. The decor, the energy, the vibe so inviting, alluring & genuine. This place is 100% worth the trip. Can’t wait to go back & try more!
August 19 · Priscilla Madurogood but not great, nothing really stood out. breading on the bacalao was so soggy we ended up peeling it off. portions are a good size which is uncommon nowadays. mushrooms and oxtail were the best bites, everything else is skipable. ernesto’s > bartolo
August 25 · Sydney MarrazzoVery cool vibe and the food is spot on. I never thought I’d ever want anchovy sitting on a bed of butter… but it’s the amazing thing I’ve eaten in a while. And the rest of the food was perfect.
August 01 · Vikram AgadiExcellent new addition to the neighborhood. The huevos fritos were for sure the standout, but we also loved the rabo de toro. Salmorejo is super hard to find in the city, and this one was excellent. Cocktail menu is a delight, as was the wine list. Great sherry as well. The space is spectacular and cozy. Staff was professional but fun, never stuffy. I can’t wait to go back when it’s chilly out. Oh and the bathroom is gorgeous.
