These wraps are a perfect grab-and-go option for people on the move, packed with marinated meats or vegetables and a perfect blend of spices. The food here is known for having a welcome "kick," and customers are advised that the hot sauce lives up to its name.
Beyond its signature dishes, Biryani Cart has earned a loyal customer base for its commitment to flavor and its friendly service. The cart's owner and staff are known for their warm and welcoming demeanor, making every interaction a pleasant one. Even during the busiest lunch rushes, the team works diligently to get customers their food quickly, ensuring that the long lines are a testament to the food's quality, not a test of your patience. The atmosphere is casual and no-frills, which is exactly what you want from a legendary street food cart.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Went during early lunch before noon. There was one person ahead and it took longer than expected. I can imagine taking awhile if there were more people before me. However, the kashmir chicken was flavorful and had a welcomed kick. I will definitely try again.
May 27 · John LiangThis is not Biryani if you’re a connoisseur. No accompaniments, no raita. And they add white sauce and hot sauce unless you ask them not to. Basically trying to tailor it on the New York famous Halal chicken over rice. One can ignore that but it was cold and likely stale. The service was super friendly though.
July 19 · Saad KI had the pleasure of enjoying a fantastic Indian meal at the Biryani Cart in New York recently. Their food stands out for its excellent quality, with a notable lack of excessive oiliness. Not only is their cuisine delicious, but it also comes at remarkably reasonable prices, making it a real gem in the city. It's worth noting that I've been a loyal patron of this establishment for quite some time. Ten years later, I'm delighted to find that the Biryani Cart maintains the same high standards that originally drew me in when I worked in Midtown. My personal favorite is their Kati rolls, an irresistible deal at 2 for $10. I prefer mine mild, and even so, they manage to infuse it with just the right amount of spiciness to tantalize the taste buds.
September 19 · George Panagopoulos at Douglas Elliman RealestateThe cook her is from Bangladesh and such a sweet man he was very courteous and explained the option on the menu well. His specialty is buradi roll and he did not disappoint us. The roll was soft and crunchy with juicy delicious pan roasted chicken with spices and veggies. It was scrumptious for sure. Price was reasonable and good size of portions too.
August 20 · S KandraPolite gentleman who served me with a smile! The lamb with salad was $10 and there a plentiful serving of flavorful lamb cubes. The salad was only iceberg lettuce (I asked for without tomatoes). He sprinkled on some green seasoning, hot sauce, and white sauce. It was spicy and tasty! Will come back again!
