I've been looking to find a good non chain Mexican restaurant to eat at and now I've found it. The agua frescas are great. I ordered the carne asada tacos which were very well seasoned and with good portion sizes. There's a great atmosphere there with very friendly staff

Chapala’s is a new joint that opened in downtown Worthington and it is worth a pit stop if you’re a fan of Mexican cuisine. The staff were friendly, service was excellent, food came out quickly, and my waiter was attentive but not overbearing. There’s a cute patio out front that begs for you to sit and enjoy a beverage at during the last of the summer nights remaining. Decor inside is modern, pleasant and welcoming. Will be back.

This place is amazing. 5 stars isn't enough. Food is perfect level of spice and flavor. Drinks are not a premade mix. And Magda is just about the best server I have ever experienced. We will never be going anywhere else for Mexican food.

I got a spicy shrimp Yucatan dish it was very good. One of my party members had difficulty getting the server's attention but I did not. It was VERY loud. We were at a corner table and still had to talk very loud in order to hear each other. I wish they would put up some sound dampening panels or something. The look of the place was good though.

I had my first date here last week, and the food was delicious. The burrito my partner had was perfect, and the nachos I had were amazing. The churros were also delicious, and the sauces that came with it were good. For the first time I've had it, I've been craving it since.
