From the moment I walked in, Mark created a welcoming, warm atmosphere that made the entire dining experience feel personal and special.He didn’t just drop by a table or two he made a point to check on every single one, always with a big smile and kind words. I watched him approach a family with a baby who’d made a bit of a mess, and rather than stress or judgment, Mark made them laugh, joking, “How else is a baby supposed to eat?” That small moment meant everything, it showed real empathy and understanding.Mark also went out of his way to engage with children, excitedly telling them about a scavenger hunt the restaurant was hosting. His energy was so authentic and joyful that it felt like more than just customer service, it was genuine connection.Even though I was just sitting alone on my lunch break, Mark checked on me twice, making sure I was doing okay. I recently visited the Chick-fil-A on Hilliard-Rome Street and was disappointed with the quality of the food. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and the spicy chicken meal, but neither met the usual standards I’ve come to expect from Chick-fil-A.The grilled chicken was cold and had an unpleasant oily taste. As for the spicy chicken sandwich, it was overcooked with way too much breading, making it overly crispy and greasy. The oil tasted old, which affected the overall flavor.The waffle fries were also disappointing. They were stuck together like they hadn’t been properly separated during cooking, and they tasted overly oily as well.I paid $24.85 for two meals, and honestly, the quality has declined compared to how good it used to be. I understand that they were busy, but that shouldn’t justify such a noticeable drop in food quality. Hopefully, management can address this and improve the consistency of their food. Gave two stars vs one due to a great Customer service. I like their team.
