★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The food here is really good. We were seated immediately as soon as we arrived but we were early for lunch as well. It seemed as though people started coming in at around one for lunch. The space is on the smaller side with about 10 or 12 tables but they do have an outdoor seating area as well. I came in November and it was too cold for us to sit outside. We were given a two person seat pretty quickly and they have one large table for parties of 6 to 8 people. We ordered the fondue with truffle oil, the burger and the octopus which was grilled. The burger was simply incredible I know that’s the last thing that you should order but it was actually really good. So if you decide to make a part of your order you won’t be disappointed. We did like the cheese fondue a lot but it is very filling and impossible to finish. Tasted great though. The octopus was not that delicious and I will probably skip it the next time. It does come with navy beans and loses a bit of the charred grilledness. The wait stuff was really good, they made good recommendations and were the ones who recommended the cheese fondue to us. I will definitely come back here if I am in the area for a quick lunch.
November 26 · Rits MHidden great Italian restaurant at the Renaissance New York Chelsea Hotel - food and drinks were awesome and the overall vibe was really great.Thank you guys at Cotto 🤙🏼
December 11 · JordanI needed a receipt from my meal and when I finally got in contact with the manager after a week of not getting a response, he immediately started yelling at me and then hung up on me. I tried calling back a few hours later to see if someone could give me a name or number of someone else that could help me and when I asked they hung up on me again. I’ve never written a google review, but I have never in my life been treated that way and I think it’s important people know what they are walking into here. All I want is my receipt, I still don’t have it and I at this point I have no idea how I could get it. I’m still in shock at the way I was treated and I hope whatever was happening in that man’s life gets better because no one else deserves this treatment.UpdateI received an email offering help with getting my receipt after posting this review and after I responded I never heard back.
August 20 · Mackenzie MunizDisrespectful communication, staff doesnt really care and the menu had many missing items. I don't usually leave reviews but this case deserved an exception. We asked a dinner room service around 9.30pm. After one hour we called to ask why our food has not came yet and they answered that the order was cancelled cause one item (out of 3) was missing. When we asked why they didn't call in advance they answered "you are not the only customer of the hotel".Even the personnel of the hotel was shocked by how rude they were.
September 04 · Dario CaccamoDinner was absolutely fantastic. We ordered a bottle of wine (the Etna Rosso was a perfect lighter red). I ordered the bucatini and my friend ordered the penne- both were delicious. The portions were great, Michael (our server) was helpful and attentive, and the atmosphere was quiet and spacious. Would absolutely come back / recommend! Just a heads up, if you order “still water” instead of tap it’s $7 per bottle- no big deal, since that’s what we asked for.
