For locals in the Ohio region, particularly those residing in Worthington and its surrounding areas, the Dairy Queen at 811 Park Rd presents itself as a suitable option for fast food and treats, despite some customer feedback regarding consistency and pricing. Its primary suitability lies in its classic appeal and convenience. Dairy Queen holds a nostalgic place for many, and this location provides that familiar comfort, whether it's for a quick lunch, a family dinner, or a refreshing dessert.
While some reviews highlight inconsistencies in product preparation, such as "unmixed shakes" or perceived skimping on Blizzard toppings without an extra charge, this indicates that the experience can sometimes "depend on who is working." This suggests that while there might be occasional variability, the core offerings are still available and, at their best, provide the expected Dairy Queen quality. The noted increases in price for Blizzards and lack of toppings unless an extra fee is paid are valid concerns for value-conscious consumers, who might compare it to other local ice cream shops like Graeter's. However, for a quick fast-food meal that also offers dessert under one roof, Dairy Queen remains a strong contender.
The accessibility of this Worthington location, with its drive-thru and central position, makes it a practical choice for busy schedules. When the craving for a classic Blizzard or a simple burger and fries strikes, the convenience often outweighs minor criticisms for many. It continues to serve as a local landmark for a quick, satisfying American fast-food experience, especially for those seeking the unique combination of hot eats and cool treats that Dairy Queen is known for, reinforcing its place in the Worthington community.

Dairy Queen Reviews
This Dairy Queen really depends on who is working. The part time staff seem to make everything right and it’s good. Unfortunately depending on the day or time you will get things like unmixed shakes, not asking if you want whipped cream but leaving a bunch of space for it.However for a $6 regular shake it’s a waste of money now. They cut back on blizzard toppings unless you ask for extra which is $1.50 more, making a regular sized blizzard $12. Yes. $12 for a blizzard… As for food you can get a burger, fries and shake from five guys for the same money and it’s tastier with much larger portions.I’ll stick to graeters in the summer for ice cream, it’s right down the street and at least paying that much I’ll get great service and great ice cream.
Jul 15, 2025 · BrandonI can not believe what I saw tonight!!! This girl same one who pulled out a bad banana, the peel was black look at us to see if we were looking and was about to cut and put it in there until someone said something! So gross and to top it off the whole entire time she was making the blizzard no gloves. GROSS GROSS no good customer service at this place whatsoever ever! I can’t no believe she was about to put a nasty banana on our icecream
Feb 16, 2025 · Kaitlyn BoylesVery understaffed. Please hire more people and if you can't get people to work at your current pay then pay people more so people are willing to work there.Blizzard was good, food is expensive for what it is but everything is expensive these days.
Jul 02, 2025 · Molly MooreSince new ownership within the past couple of years the store has gone way downhill. Blizzards are awful, they don’t give enough toppings or syrup….never made the way they should be (just compare to any other DQ, you’ll see the difference). They close the inside way early and kick you out before the hours they have posted. Live right next door to the place, but now drive 15 minutes away just to get what I actually pay for and not feel like I’m being pushed away. Just awful.
May 29, 2025 · Derrik ClarkI had one piece of chocolate in my entire mini s’mores blizzard. They definitely need to step it up. The burgers looked like something that could be microwaved
