Del Mar ReviewDel Mar offers a lovely setting to sit and take in the beauty of central Easton Mall. The ambiance is inviting, and the overall dining experience was enjoyable. While the food was decent, the lamb meatballs 10/10 but I found the fries a bit too soft for my preference. The mashed potatoes were quite rich and had a slightly greasy texture with noticeable potato lumps perhaps their own unique interpretation. Nonetheless, it’s a great place to unwind, enjoy quality drinks, and appreciate the lively surroundings.

An overall great experience. My favorite part was the attentiveness of the server. She is what the made the meal seamless and enjoyable. The zucchini chips as well as the half chicken are excellent. The presentation of the lobster spaghetti was very cute. Drinks were nice but a bit too iced and the potatoes were ok. Next time we go will be to try the brunch menu, but the dinner service was good for a special event / treat yourself.

The atmosphere (interior) and service were amazing. The food was good but nothing extraordinary. I had the half roasted chicken and I felt like it needed more seasoning but the roasted carrots that was part of the dish was incredible!

First time having Del Mar last night, and already talking about when we will go back! Great service, amazing food, and a beautiful restaurant. Can’t say enough good things! We were treated extremely well, the food is delicious AND beautiful! Expected nothing less from a CM restaurant but they NAILED IT! The fire roasted seafood dish was AMAZING. Their fresh bread is soooo delicious, and the drinks recommended to us were perfect! Absolutely recommend this place.

My partner and I recently had dinner at Del Mar, and I’ll admit—I was skeptical. Cameron Mitchell previously had a restaurant in the Short North with the same name, and I wasn’t a fan. When they rebranded, I worried the food would be similar. I was so wrong.The interior is cozy yet airy, striking the perfect balance of upscale and beachy. Wanting to try as much as possible, we opted for a spread of appetizers instead of entrees—and we couldn’t have been happier with that decision.We started with oysters, which were briny, fresh, and absolutely perfect. Next came the tuna tartare, unlike any I’ve had before. It featured olives (which I typically don’t like), but the flavors were unexpectedly fantastic, making for a fresh twist on a classic dish.From there, we dove into a lineup of lamb flatbread, lamb meatballs, bacon-wrapped dates, and Brussels sprouts. Every dish was rich, hearty, and packed with flavor, but the dates stole the show. We saved them for last because we didn’t want them to be gone too soon.Even though we only had appetizers, we were completely satisfied—but of course, we had to end with dessert. We tried the lemon blueberry tart and chocolate mousse, both topped with mascarpone whipped cream. The mousse was deeply decadent, while the tart was light, sweet, and refreshing.By the time we left, I was already planning my next visit. Del Mar exceeded my expectations, delivering bold flavors, creative dishes, and a welcoming atmosphere. If you haven’t been yet, go—you won’t be disappointed.
