What is worth choosing Dog & Bone over the countless other options in New York City? The answer lies in its perfect blend of quality, value, and atmosphere. This isn’t a bar with an identity crisis; it knows exactly what it is—a great place for a beer and a burger, as one review perfectly puts it. The food menu is a standout, offering a diverse range of options from a classic Full English Breakfast for brunch to an impressive D&B Burger for dinner. The fact that the food is a major highlight, with dishes like the Chicken Curry with ‘half n half’ and the Fish and Chips, ensures that it’s a destination for a satisfying meal, not just a drink. The attentive and personable staff, like the bartender Ricky mentioned in a review, elevate the experience from good to great. Their commitment to service ensures every patron feels valued.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Was there a few weeks agoOverall was a great bar. Though their beer draft selection was small, it was great, especially since I stuck to just one beer the whole night. Bartender was very personable, and was attentive with not just myself but with the other patrons in the bar. Ricky knows what's up! Would definitely recommend to anyone that just wants a normal bar setting and not a bar that low key wants to be a club. Can't comment on their food since I didn't order anything from the kitchen.
July 06 · phillipe donosoChill bar in kips bay near Baruch. There’s always dogs outside which is cute. Nice place for a beer and some burgers
August 25 · JohnVery average, no frills bar. But the service and drinks are great. Perfect for happy hour. Went in with a group of 20+ people and service was still good. The bartender was friendly (and easy on the eyes!).Basic menu, but decent choices.Definitely stop by for drinks.
August 29 · Samelia JVery pleasant British-themed restaurant with some authentic touches - the baked beans were great and the curry & chips were almost too good to be a genuine replica. The indoor dining is very well spaced out and (as of Nov 2020) has large clear partitions between tables which adds a level of comfort to the experience. There is also plenty of outdoor seating on a newly pedestrian street.Beer options tend towards the standard American choices (which are good) although there are a couple of English beers in cans.
October 31 · HowardWe met Ricky today, grabbing our last drink of the night. It was the right kind of vibe to end the night. Everyone else in the area was wrecked and sloppy, but this place was tight, clean, and friendly. This is going on my save list as the right place to stop every time I'm back in town. The crew is great, chill and welcoming, the selection just what you need to end on and you can actually hear each other! My new place.
