★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This place is known for their sandwiches, so I went in without expecting much. I picked two that looked decent from the menu photos—turns out, they were both bacon, egg, and cheese. They come with a latke inside, which adds a great crispy texture to the soft, egg-heavy roll. The toasted bagel sandwich really stood out—the bagel itself was fantastic. It had that perfect mix of fluffy and crunchy, with just a hint of heat that gave it a kick. Honestly, it might be one of the best bacon, egg, and cheese bagels I’ve had in NYC.
July 29 · Sanguk “Namkoo” AhnFirst time here and I ordered a BLT. Ended up being more of a tomato sandwich than a BLT. Heavy emphasis on the T in BLT. The sandwich has three strips of small bacon in the entire thing and was all tomato for $17. Extremely disappointed. I’m sure the other sandwiches are better but I would not recommend the BLT unless you want a TOMATO sandwich. The flavor was fine, slow service as well.
August 03 · Ken WaldenEdith’s sandwich counter, is a gem in New York City, became my go-to spot for a satisfying sandwich. While visiting with my family, we were introduced to this place and couldn’t resist trying their pastrami with bagel. The pastrami was a perfect combination of fat and lean, so many flavors that left me craving more.Be prepared to make a little effort to find a seat. Edith’s has limited seating. So, you might have to venture a few steps away to a nearby stoop and enjoy your delicious meal. This all makes the experience that much more memorable.
May 14 · Dr. Fransisco FloresBEST BLT EVERRRRRRR!!! It’s Tomato Season y’all!! This gem won’t be on the menu forever! Get it while it’s HOT HOT HOT!!I added turkey, which was totally unnecessary and wildly epic! The sauce was corn and corn kernels. DELISH!!Look at the photo! I couldn’t open my hand wide enough for both sides. This is a messy sandwich - that’s how you know it’s good!!Seriously, don’t sleep on Edith’s. Everything on the menu in fantastic. Spoil yourself. You deserve to eat well.I’ve eaten at this location and the Brooklyn Location - neither disappoint.
August 19 · Courtney KChicken schnitzel on challah is SO good. 10/10 on all the flavors and textures. A bit on the greasier side. The tahini coffee is also refreshing and not too sweet. The tahini feels healthier and heartier than plain milk. The latkes are also great here- with a thin coating of potato shavings which make a crisp salty bite. They have totkes too- which are the latkes chopped up into bite sized crispier pieces. Tried the BEC with the Chicago everything bagel. I don't think there was anything notable about the bagel but the fillings were a great ratio. If I had two latkes with the bacon egg and cheese smushed in between I'd be happy.
