★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1HIDDEN GEM ALERT. This has become one of my favorite restaurants. The food is great (it was not that way when it first opened). My faves are the oysters, the mushroom with ricotta and fried bread, the clams with chorizo and the spaghetti. Also the waitstaff is fantastic. And best of all, you can hear yourselves talk here.UPDATE 1/14: do not know what is going on. New menu every few days, total turnover in staff. It’s become very hit or miss. Still beautiful space and food is generally good.
January 14 · Irma ZandlWe had a good burger and some amazing fries with it, slightly crunchy in the outside and super soft in the inside. The pumpkin loaf bread was amazing too. Also, our server, Chaun, was really kind and provided a great service! It was our first time here and we are coming back for sure! A great place to have a lunch date. (Great lunch special around 2pm)!!
September 06 · Melissa CruzWhat a pleasant new addition to NYC. Excellent food pleasant service and as described above airy space. Not only was the food was scellent it was fresh well thought out and tasty. We had a the summer squash (a must) and the eggplant salades. They we had the creamy eggplant risotto which was really worked well.We also had the bavette which was excellent. We finished all of that with a really nice strawberry and cream. Our water was attentive and not over bearing. We sat outside and I noticed the have the heaters ready for the autumn days.I will definitely be going back.
September 02 · Ziad IskandarGet the soft scramble they are life changing eggs. The combination of the brown butter sauce with the garlic wilted spinach+quinoa really elevates the flavor of the eggs to another level. Also loved the ricotta toast with the peaches, cherries and honey. Very refreshing and yummy. Best breakfast. The restaurant is off to the side of Sister City Hotel with a great outdoor shaded terrace in a semi private alleyway.
August 21 · Amanda RivkinA bit overpriced, chic location. The food was great, we weren't hungry and haven't had a taste of many things, but it definitely made us curious to go back and have dinner. Great cocktails and very attentive and friendly staff.
