★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My experience was truly remarkable. Each dish felt like a journey of its own. Food becomes something extraordinary when it evokes memories; and in some moments, it brought back thoughts of my late grandmother, stirring deep emotions. That, to me, is one of the greatest achievements of cuisine: an art form that transforms the diner through its performance and one that deserves to be remembered and celebrated. The wine pairing was phenomenal. I can still recall the wine with delicate pear notes, and the selection for the cheese-based dessert was simply brilliant. I’m so glad I chose to go with it. Without a doubt, this was one of the finest dining experiences I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was relaxed and vibrant, and being able to watch the kitchen in action made it all the more special. The service was superb, from the moment I made the reservation to the heartfelt goodbye. I still vividly remember some of the dishes I tasted. I was looking for a creative culinary experience, and I’m so happy to have found it in one of my favorite cities in the world.
April 09 · Dimitria CostaThis restaurant is truly amazing. The gallery concept is so creative. You walk into what looks like an art gallery, then suddenly one of the paintings opens up into a hidden door that leads you into a private dining space. That alone was already impressive. The service was exceptional. Truly some of the best I’ve experienced. Every dish was not only delicious but also unique and beautifully presented. A few things really stood out to me. Their butter was incredibly flavorful and different from anything I’ve had before. The soup was served in a drink-style cup which made it a fun and unexpected experience.Every single plate was visually stunning. Honestly this is one of the best Michelin-starred meals I’ve had in the U.S. so far.
May 10 · OliviaFood was immaculate- every plating looked like it was carefully crafted so it visually looked beautiful/ playful and the flavors of each dish were just so delicious. Definitely a place to visit if you want to experience fine dining.
August 27 · Angel ParkIncredible! We had the most wonderful experience at Frevo. Chef Franco was very generous with his time and hospitality. I’ve visited many fine restaurants over the years but Frevo is in a league of its own. The artwork and lighting deserve a review of their own. The wine pairing was flawless and each and every bite of our courses were perfect. The service was immaculate from start to finish and I’m already dreaming about my next visit. Bravo!
May 03 · chris doddsThis has to be a long review for the sake of the price that’s been paid to eat here. Frevo has the look..a hidden art entrance, a sleek counter, and a tasting menu that sets certain expectations. But once you’re seated, the experience feels more curated than connected. The food isn’t bad. Some dishes were good, but others had bold flavour combos that clashed, like something got lost between concept and execution. Everyone’s palate is different, but for a place at this level, you’d expect at least one standout dish. That didn’t happen, especially when there are similar dishes that I can think of at other restaurants that stand out and makes you think, that tastes mad!Service was polite but overly scripted. Descriptions were rushed or hard to follow, and the interaction felt surface level. No real introduction to the chef either, you could probably spot him, but there was zero effort to engage or create a personal connection. Just dish after dish, mostly handed off by their servers with no connection to the chef whatsoever. The space is clean and modern, with awesome thoughtful art touches that tie into the experience and menu. Bur. the setup creates distance, chefs with their backs to you, brief scripted plating moments, and little warmth overall. It’s efficient, but cold and leaves you feeling ‘meh what’s next’.If you’re into the whole secret entry, minimalist fine dining thing, FREVO you could check out to say you’ve done it but for what I paid, it felt like a regret. Which I didn’t want to say.
