Dined here on a recent trip to the city at the suggestion of a foodie friend. And wow…it did not disappoint. Fantastic fried chicken, with so much flavor, incredible pastas and the side dishes were super tasty as well. I love sitting at the bar and chatting with the bartenders. Great service, creative cocktails and just an allAround great experience in midtown. 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

Good place for Korean bbq and other Korean eats. Shocked by how big the place is! It was definitely happening on a Saturday night here. Great vibes, clean and spacious. Food is so good too. We loved the chicken wings, rose pasta and burger. Golden butter pancakes is to die for. Pair with refreshing melon soft serve for the perfect after meal dessert. Congrats to Sam to another outstanding eatery!

A lot of unique dishes on the menu - in a good way. The wings were super crispy, the Cesar salad is really good if a dressed a tad heavy for me. The corn and cheese was delish! The chicken sandwich sauce wasn't to my taste but the sandwich was well executed. I would definitely try the burger next time. The japchae was one of the best I've had in NYC. The mushrooms in it were stellar. The rigatoni was nice as well. We finished with the mini pancakes. I've never had the original but we all thoroughly enjoyed these! We'll definitely go back.

The food was great. I enjoyed the chop salad, cheeseburger, and pancakes.I ordered the prime ribeye, but I would try to get the hanger steak instead next time.I came on a Monday night around 9 p.m., and there was a stand-up comedy show, which was kind of loud. But other than that, the atmosphere seemed like a chill place to eat food, get drinks, and watch the live US Open that was being projected.

Disappointing as a whole. I’m such a huge fan of Golden Diner so I had really high expectations. The soy garlic wings were delicious and the highlight of the meal for me. I also really liked the burger, great toppings and condiments. That’s pasta we got and the pancake were just ok, nothing bad but nothing memorable. The disco fries were all wrong. Maybe a good idea on paper but in reality it just doesn’t work with those ingredients. The black bean sauce is just too dry (and not enough contrast with the fries) and then you have some random jalapeños and zucchini floating around. It just doesn’t work together flavor or texture wise. It’s super loud in there and hard to hear your dining companions, and does have a sports bar vibe like someone else mentioned. I think there is even a large screen TV. I will stick to golden diner for now.
