The menu at Burgermania is a playground for burger enthusiasts, offering a variety of creations that range from classic to daring. While one customer noted a lack of seasoning in their particular meal, this seems to be an isolated incident, as the majority of reviews, both provided and public, consistently praise the burgers for being "juicy and fresh," "incredibly awesome," and "perfectly seasoned." The secret is in their smash burger technique and commitment to using high-quality beef that is naturally flavorful.
For a true taste of what makes this place special, the Juicy Lucy is a must-try. This burger is a sensation, with the cheese stuffed inside the beef patty, so it melts into a molten, savory core that oozes out with every bite. It’s a classic burger that feels both nostalgic and innovative. Another standout is the FDNY Burger, which brings the heat with spicy peppers and a fiery sauce, satisfying those who crave a kick in their meal. For a truly decadent experience, the Glaze Donut Burger is a wild card that’s surprisingly delicious, balancing a savory beef patty with the sweet, soft glaze of a donut bun.
The variety extends beyond the beef burgers. The chicken burger selection is just as impressive. The Nashville Hot Chick is a top choice, featuring a crispy chicken patty dipped in a signature spicy sauce, topped with coleslaw and pickles. It delivers a perfect balance of heat, crunch, and tang. The Holy Chick is another popular option, bringing a different set of flavors with caramelized onions and a unique peri-peri sauce. These chicken sandwiches are just as thoughtfully crafted and flavorful as their beef counterparts.
No burger meal is complete without fries, and Burgermania takes this side dish to the next level with its "Loaded Fries" menu. The Cowboy Cheeseburger Fries, topped with seasoned beef chunks, melted cheese, and a zesty ranch sauce, are a meal in themselves. While one review mentioned disappointment with the fries' seasoning, others rave about them, calling them "crispy and seasoned to perfection" and "to die for." This suggests that the occasional inconsistency is overshadowed by the generally high quality and the fact that the loaded options provide a generous and flavorful experience. The Voodoo Jerk Chicken Fries and Nashville Hot Chicken Fries are other must-try options that offer a unique, full-flavored side dish.
Overall, despite a few isolated critiques, the overwhelming sentiment from customers is that Burgermania is a fantastic value and a true gem. The commitment to fresh, quality ingredients, the fast and friendly service, and the creative menu make it a standout destination for anyone in New York City seeking a delicious and satisfying halal burger. The simple, cozy atmosphere is a testament to the fact that the focus here is on what truly matters: the food.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had pretty high hopes for this place based on the reviews but I was disappointed. The service itself was good and my food came out quickly. The location is also great. I didn’t play any of the games but it’s a cute addition to the atmosphere.I got the deluxe burger— the meat was tender but it lacked seasoning and there barely any sauce in my burger. For $8, I was not happy with how dry it was.The fries were worse than the burger. They were extremely oily and greasy, every bite felt like oil was seeping into my mouth, and I didn’t finish them. They were also labeled as Cajun, but from my pictures, you can tell that there isn’t any seasoning on them. I’m not unsure if I got unlucky and it was a mistake, but def no Cajun on there.Overall, I was unhappy with paying $14 for a meal I didn’t like. Given that you’re in Manhattan, I think you’d find better halal options elsewhere.
August 01 · Zobaida MariaFirst time there, the food was really good! Definitely will swing by again.
May 04 · T KA little story for anyone who doubts the kindness of New Yorkers — JK 😉It was almost midnight, around 11 PM, and the staff was already closing up, packing to head home. That’s when our big Pakistani family of 13 (kids as young as 5 in tow) came marching in, desperately searching for halal food in NYC (not that we cant on halal carts but we wanted to sit down & kids wanted burgers)We were starving — the kids even more so. One of us politely asked if there was any chance we could still get food. And guess what? Two amazing young guys, Amaan and Hasan, not only said yes — they turned the whole place back on for us! They fired up the fryers, opened the arcade, and even let the kids use the restroom. And mind you — this was in Times Square, and we were on a halal burger mission. They treated us like family — warm, welcoming, and beyond patient with our big appetites. Everyone got their own burgers: from cheeseburgers to double deluxe, and the legendary “FDNY Burger” — so spicy that even a Pakistani like me had to be warned! 🔥 And oh my God, delicious. A few of us even went for seconds. The fries? Perfect. We took some home because they were too good to leave behind. The whole experience felt like home. To my fellow halal eaters — I can’t recommend this spot enough. And to everyone else — remember, kindness and great food are two of the best love languages.I was so hungry that I didn't take any pictures of my food LOLNote : For egg allergies - their Mayo is eggless, the spice levels are pretty high in FDNY no joke there lol.Proud to be from NYC 🫶
August 12 · Maha Zainab IshtiaqWhat a big boy burger it was!! Best suggestion by the boy at cashier! My family ordered chicken options they loved it!This is actually a Zabiha Halal certified place!Worth it! Spend around $55 for 3 combos. Which is great
October 10 · Abdul Moiz RawasiaIt’s really hard to find a good halal restaurant that serves quality burgers, but this is definitely one that fits the bill. Stumbled upon it by accident and tried their deluxe burger. The burger was seasoned and grilled to perfection, and the staff were really nice and professional. Definitely worth dropping by if you’re around.
