Hearth Introduce
Hearth is a true culinary treasure nestled in the heart of New York City's East Village. More than just a restaurant, it is a warm and inviting destination that blends the rustic charm of Tuscan-American cuisine with the refined elegance of a fine dining experience. We are proud to be a beacon of honest, delicious food, with a philosophy centered on using seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients that not only taste good but make you feel good.
Since opening, Hearth has become a beloved classic, a place that New Yorkers return to again and again. The ambiance is both upscale and cozy, creating a perfect backdrop for a romantic dinner, a celebratory family gathering, or a casual meal with friends. Our commitment to quality extends beyond the plate, as we also offer a meticulously curated wine list featuring smaller, independent producers, with a bounty of organic, natural, and biodynamic bottles.
We believe in a dining experience that is both sophisticated and unpretentious. Our team, led by James Beard Award-winning Chef Marco Canora, is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and food that speaks for itself. Whether you’re a long-time regular or a first-time visitor, you'll feel the passion and care that goes into every dish.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1i think i have probably passed by this restaurant hundreds of times and finally tried it last night. the entrance is around the corner on a quieter street, so looks very unassuming when you’re walking past on 1st ave.we all got the restaurant week deal and it was definitely a deal at $45 for 3-courses (additional charge for upgrades). we got to try everything. our highlights were: garlic bread (so buttery 😍), gazpacho, fish cake, campanelle, beans, and almond cake for dessert. would definitely come back again during restaurant week.
August 24 · Lori LamOur experience here was amazing! The staff is extremely attentive and the wine pairings for each dish were excellent. The food was cooked to perfection and it was an even better experience sitting at the chef’s pass, would highly recommend!
July 20 · Dr. Ross TeicherFriendly spot with an excellent menu. I recommend the family style servings they offer. Plenty of food for the whole table. Service was chipper and welcoming. Wines were fantastic,
July 22 · Marshall CrutchfieldAbsolutely delicious and healthy food, you can taste how fresh the ingredients are. I don’t love soup, but I can confidently say that the soup they had here was amazing. Their salad was unique but paired well to make the dish feel balanced. Would definitely come again.
January 15 · Kristy ChenWe had a wonderful meal here. One of our party is disabled, and we didn't realize there were steps up into the restaurant when we arrived. The staff was unbelievably courteous, quickly brought out a ramp, and were solicitous about our friends needs throughout the meal. The food was terrific, the wine selections were exceptional, but the staff were over the moon.
