★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Freshest poke I’ve had in New York. Fish was not ‘fishy’, vegetables were very fresh and the sauces were delicious (particularly the Hullabaloo Ponzu and the Roasted Sesame Cream). The owner was incredibly kind knowing we weren’t from the area and took time to direct us to a lunch spot to enjoy our poke.
August 04 · Paulyanna NelsonCame for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised! Great poke bowl menu, but the real gem is create-your-own! No limit on toppings or sauces, and so many options. Bowl tasted fresh and the staff were so kind! Line was a tad slow but they take the time making your bowl, so understandable. Great lunch option, reasonable price, would come back if in the area!
April 25 · Erin RodriguesTried this for lunch today. Excellent fresh poke and good toppings. Did a custom bowl and service could have been a bit quicker considering it was just 3 people in line. However the attitude and fun nature of the main guy made up for the slow line. Must try!
April 02 · Mahima SrivastavaThis has got to be one of the most value filled poke place I've been to. Quality is free good, but avoid the tuna. The one I got tasted like freezer burn. Much better luck with the salmon. Line is short, so I would suggest walk in if possible, even during lunch hours. There's no topping restrictions if you order in person compared to online. The lid could barely close and the food got squashed! Even if you order online it's a very solid chunk of value.
August 30 · Ricky DangUpdated review: I had a bad experience previously in March 2018 when I ordered online and my order was not ready when I got there because they "missed" my order. I understand that happens but instead of making my bowl right away, they continued to service other customers who were in line and did not check in on me. I waited there for 15 minutes before the owner checked in on me again and realized no one started making my order.I posted about this experience and to my surprise, the owner called me a few weeks later and made an offer for a free bowl and drink. I never used that offer as I want my reviews to be unbiased but I gave them another chance. Their bowls are tasty, hence my updated review below:Excellent sushi bowls and even better customer service! Would definitely recommend ordering physically rather than online because you can see what you're getting but they offer a greater variety of classic bowls online. But today in July 2018, I ordered the classic Big Kahuna and they gave me a bowl WITHOUT the salmon, tuna, seaweed salad, shrimp, edamame, and essentially missed the whole Kahuna part of my order. My bowl was half empty but because they put in a bag, I didn't realize until I got back to my office. When I went back for them to fix it, the owner was nice and apologized, but the fixed bowl was STILL missing the lotus chips! I saw that and asked the server and she rolled her eyes and went to the back to add them. I don't know if they're fresh but one of them was black.... pics below.
