So, with all the dining choices in New York City, what makes I LOVE BIBIMBAP truly worth choosing? The answer is simple: a focus on quality, comfort, and authenticity. While it may not be a traditional high-end Korean restaurant, its strength lies in its ability to master the fundamentals of Korean comfort food. The bibimbap, as the name suggests, is a star dish—a colorful and delicious bowl of rice, vegetables, and your choice of protein that is both nutritious and incredibly flavorful. The kimchi fried rice and ramen are also notable for their excellent seasoning and generous portions.
What really sets this place apart, however, is the genuine warmth and attentiveness of the staff. Customers consistently praise the friendly and welcoming environment, noting that they are made to feel right at home. This personal touch, combined with the excellent quality of the food, creates a dining experience that feels both special and effortless. The affordability of the menu, with many satisfying dishes priced for a quick and accessible meal, is another major advantage in a city where dining out can be expensive. Whether you're a student, a local professional, or a family, you can enjoy a fantastic meal without worrying about the cost. I LOVE BIBIMBAP is a testament to the idea that great food and great service don't need to come with a hefty price tag. It’s an easy, delicious, and reliable choice for anyone craving a taste of Korea in Upper Manhattan.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Everything was spot on for a casual Korean street/comfort food joint. The owner and family welcomed us in, served us warmly, and made us feel right at home. They were generous with the portions and genuinely attentive to our table. The fries and ramen were cooked and seasoned perfectly (some of the best fries I've had in Manhattan!), and the kimchee fried rice was better than many pricier restaurants in the city. The green sauce/mayo was brilliant, too. Being our first time, we were certainly pleased; We'll be back, looking forward to trying more of the menu. Thanks Timo & Mama!
May 13 · David LinkBibbidi Bobbidi Bibimbap!!! This place is good but its not authentic Korean food! With that said I did enjoy the chicken bibimbap just need a bigger portion of chicken in the entree!!
April 11 · MIKEY LAPI absolutely love this place. The food is delicious! For all those who work or live in the area, if you liked Gogo-gi (that closed down in the pandemic), you will absolutely love this place (as the chef used to work there)! My favorite is the Love chicken nugget bowl (with the amazing green sauce) & I absolutely love their spicy chicken ramen! I would eat here every day if I could! Huge portion sizes and it’s priced decently for the area. The staff is super nice and friendly. They’re very hospitable, it seems to be run by a family. Definitely check them out!
October 10 · Camille WhiteI ordered pick-up and had an amazing experience! The bimbimbap was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I would recommend the tofu bimbimbap, the portions were perfect and bigger than I thought. Timo was incredibly helpful and provided outstanding service and is a great cook. I highly recommend Bimbimbap for anyone looking for great food and excellent customer service. Will definitely be ordering again!
April 27 · Ash RA solid B here. Not an expert on Korean food but I am sure neither are they as the employees here are Mexican or central American. I thought the beef bulgog was a bit saucy. This place just opened and they are still a bit unprepared. The place has ZERO atmosphere. Try putting some nice pictures on the wall. A bit expensive here as well. $5 for a glass of Cranberry juice. $24 for a simple lunch.
