Johnnie's Tavern Reviews
Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. The server/bartender seemed to be tackling all of the tables on her own and she still did a wonderful job. We never waited for anything despite her being busy.Got the cheese curds and fried mushroom appetizers to start. They were average. Nothing exceptional, but good. Burger and tots for the main were pretty decent.Ambience was awesome.Overall, a great place to grab some solid bar food and some cold drinks. I would definitely stop by again.

May 03, 2025 · Rigo LopezI'm sad to say I've lived pretty much next door to Johnnie's for over a decade and never stopped in. Today I stopped with a coworker on a whim and we will most definitely be back. The burger is traditional but delicious, and stands proud on fundamentals. Well made, seasoned patty with the usual toppings available. Next time I'm definitely adding bacon!
Jun 20, 2025 · MattStopped at this place on my tour of eating all the hamburgers in Hamburger America. Neat place. Opposing on the outside but cozy bar on the inside. Bartender is friendly. Ordered burger with american cheese, bacon, onion and pickles. Burger came out in 5 to 10 min. It was scorching hot off the grill. Tasted good. Thicker patty. This place reminds me of a hipper Buds in colorado.
Aug 01, 2025 · AndrewGot a burger with Tater tots from Johnnie’s Tavern today. The burger was really good, cooked well, and way bigger than i expected. Very satisfying. The Tater tots were especially solid. They came out fresh, super crispy, and not greasy at all. Definitely worth going back.
