How the chef handles each piece of fish delicately and prepares it so carefully and beautifully…almost like a poetry. Each course has one unique ingredient which takes it to a whole new dimension. The top quality fish and the A5 wagyu are at the center of it all. This is an experience in itself.

But I don’t like when they are mixed together. It is distracting and I can’t feel the pure sweetness from both shrimp and uni. But overall the fish, the seasoning, the presentation is great. The scallop was my favorite!!

So fun to watch the prep right in front of you. $75 for 13 course set omakase menu, with option to add extra pieces or repeat for additional fee. Sake, wine and beer available - received a glass of sake on the house during the tasting. Make a reservation and the seating is 1 hour. There are a couple tables you can wait at if you come early or need more time to finish.
May 24 · A FKazumi Omakase was just added to my best omakases under $100 in NYC… this 13 course omakase was amazing and only $75 per person!You get all the best courses like torched sweet shrimp, wagyu with truffle, scallop, uni, ikura, and toro with caviar. The ikura is marinated so the pop is perfect and the taste is sweater than usual. I loved it! I also loved how they use pickled wasabi, freshly shaved truffle, caviar, scallions, and many more amazing toppings. The vibes are great and the food is outstanding! The portions are big so you leave full the fish truly is super fresh.

Still, for anyone looking to enjoy very fresh fish and a well-executed Omakase in a great location, this is a solid choice. I personally wouldn’t return, but I can see why many people would enjoy it.
