Every dish we tried was well-prepared and delicious.Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short. The restaurant was uncomfortably hot, to the point where I couldn’t fully enjoy or even focus on the food the way I should have. Additionally, the restroom setup was disappointing; you have to walk through the kitchen while staff are working, which felt unsafe and not very sanitary.We spent about $145 for two people (including tip), so roughly $70+ per person. At that price point, I expect not just great food but also a comfortable, enjoyable dining experience. While the food impressed me, the environment did not, and that’s why I can’t give a full 5 stars.

For an appetizer, we ordered cod beignets, which were good but on the greasy side since they were fried. But worth it.I would love to try the cornbread and the brisket next time.
