When you visit Kolachi, you’ll find that the limited menu is a strength, as it allows them to perfect every single item. The main event, of course, are the paratha rolls. Both the Chicken Roll and the Beef Roll are exceptional choices, praised for their succulent, flame-grilled proteins and the flaky, buttery texture of the paratha bread. The Spicy Chicken Garlic Mayo Roll is another standout, adding a creamy, zesty kick that takes the flavor to another level. For those seeking a delicious vegetarian option, the Plant-Based-Chicken Roll is a fantastic choice, providing the same satisfying experience with a flavorful meat substitute.
However, it would be a mistake to visit Kolachi and not order the Diesel Fries. This side dish is an experience in itself, offering a crispy, golden texture with a unique, peppery masala seasoning. The most talked-about part of this dish is the unexpected but brilliant combination of the savory fries with a side of maple syrup for dipping. The sweet and salty contrast is a flavor revelation and a must-try for any first-time visitor. To complete your meal, be sure to grab a Chai (Tea), which is the perfect warm and comforting beverage to pair with the savory rolls. The sauces, including the Kolachi Sauce and Lemon Garlic Dip, are also worth adding to your order to customize your roll and add an extra layer of flavor. Ultimately, every item on the menu is worth trying, but a classic order of a paratha roll and the Diesel Fries is the perfect introduction to this unique and beloved New York City spot.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I’ve been having Kolachi for over a year now and feel like it’s finally time for a review. Definitely one of my favorite places in the city, super fresh and consistently yum!! The diesel fries and maple syrup dip truly hit different, you have to try it to believe itI was always a fan of their spicy chicken roll and that’s what kept bringing me back, but I had the new garlic mayo roll today and it might just top it. They’ve added chai to the menu too and it’s so perfect to grab on your way outDecent portion size but would def recommend getting two rolls for a full meal (+ the fries serving size is VERY generous!). Love it!!!
February 28 · Maha InamThis was our second visit to Kolachi, and we're glad we returned. We walked in on a quiet Thursday afternoon and received prompt, friendly service. We ordered the Spicy Chicken with Garlic Mayo and the Beef Roll - the latter was exceptional, packed with flavor. While the price point is reasonable, the roll size is modest, so come hungry and consider ordering multiple. We're excited to try their new chai offering next time. Overall, Kolachi impresses as a small business, serving clean, flavorful food. We hope they'll consider increasing roll sizes, but for now, we're happy to support this gem.
March 14 · Meera MohanWe tried paratha rolls, and those were good, not too oily and just the right amount of protein inside it. But what really made our visit amazing was the exceptional customer service from the woman at the counter. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I think she deserves recognition. Honestly, it's rare to see such incredible customer service nowadays.
May 06 · AonSmall simple menu with a few items. EVERYTHING is good. More of a take out spot, prices are on the higher side. Both the beef & chicken are really good but the chicken is my favorite.
March 18 · Samir NawazVery reasonable priced. Got the spicy chicken roll, the chicken was juicy and the overall roll tasted well.It is not a restaurant seating style space. A few seating spots with bench or bar stools. Good for quick grab.
