The menu has something for everyone. I had the caviar scallop pasta dish and was blown away.Everything is perfect. I visited for one of my birthday celebrations this year and had an amazing evening even on a Monday night. You can have a wonderful evening here with beautiful conversations - the music is at an appropriate volume.
August 25 · Jullissa HindsLovely steak house with good service. We enjoyed almost every item we chose. The miss for us was the bone marrow. The people in our group who like marrow prefer traditional marrow this version had a lot of additional things added and seemed like very little true bone marrow. Understand these things were mentioned on the menu. The creamed spinach was perfect. So many steakhouses lately serve a bowl of cream and cheese with a hint of spinach. This was dark green spinach and was delicious. Caviar also perfect. The additions were excellent and the chips to eat it on were crispy and lightly salted. Everything else we had was also good, these were the standouts for me. I have eaten at many steak houses and while this one is definitely and elevated service I think the food is as good at many others (except maybe the spinach).
August 11 · Kathy DThis restaurant was a 10 out of 10, the food of course is the main character here but I have to say also the atmosphere in this place is insane; the design, the lighting makes this place truly memorable.We started ordering the wood-fired bone which was amazing, they prepared in a very unique way it was delicious, we also order the smoked salmon very fresh tasty salmon… then we had the house made pasta which comes topped with caviar and let me tell you!! You need to try this pastas it was very good it kind of surprised me. For main course we ordered The prime Rib and it was unbelievable, the meat was perfection they also bring you some bread that is just as good. This place is just mind blowing from their amazing cuisine to their stylish atmosphere. This place is definitely now on my list of favorite restaurants in NYC.

The menu is brilliantly designed—everything you’d expect from a world-class steakhouse, plus creative touches that set it apart. I was especially delighted by the ten different potato options and the thoughtful variety of sauces that complemented each dish perfectly. Love the horseradish cream!!The prime rib was outstanding, but the true highlight of the evening was the lobster tail. Cooked to absolute perfection, it was paired with a delicious citrus sauce and light side salad that I first assumed was just garnish, only to discover it was as flavorful and memorable as any entrée.The martini was good, though I had secretly hoped it would match the one served at Daniel, which still stands as the best martini I’ve ever had.Desserts were a joy. The lemon tart topped with lemon meringue was DEVINE. The pecan Joconde - 100% recommended getting-struck me as underwhelming at first, but when I tried it again the next day, its flavors shone beautifully; I think the richness of the steak and sauces had simply overshadowed its delicate flavor at the table. My advice: do not pass on it, order it to go. The house-made ice cream, complete with homemade sprinkles, was also excellent.Overall, La Tête d’Or exceeded expectations in every way. It’s thoughtful, creative, and absolutely worth experiencing. Cannot wait to go back!
August 17 · Lauren RiveraMy boyfriend and I had an unbelievably wonderful experience here. We came to celebrate his birthday and were immediately greeted by a host team that genuinely felt excited to see us. They were our first interaction with the restaurant and seeing their warm smiles already kicked off the night right. The server Nash was excellent and went above and beyond with all requests. He made sure my cocktail was perfect and even asked for advice from the pastry team on how to make the perfect clover club. After talking with the sommelier, he pulled a perfect grand cru Bordeaux for our meal and in our budget. And I haven’t even gotten started on the food! The steak tartare was fabulous, table side Caesar was a delightful surprise, and we selected one of the menu additions for the evening which was a tender veal chop with morels and white asparagus. It was the epitome of spring time at a steakhouse! Although we had so much trouble deciding what to order because everything looked so good, Nash helped us select items that would be perfect for our experience and also ensure we had space for dessert. The soft serve sundae is basically a must-order. I already have my next meal at La Tête d’Or planned out, so we will see you soon!
