La Terra Reviews
Don’t think! Run!! This place is amazing!!! We’ve been waiting them to open and their food and service were incredible! We ordered FRITTO MISTO "LA TERRA” (most definitely order!), lamb osso bucco (it was their special), vitello saltibocca (best veal I’ve had), pitachio cream brûlée (best I had) and tiramisu. We loved all of the food!! Can’t wait to come back!
August 24 · Jinny ChoiFinally Luigi has opened La Terra. We were faithful customers to his last restaurant so we are happy he reopened in our neighborhood. The decoration is wonderful. Service top notch and of course Luigi is such a great host.We had a lovely dinner and will be back very soon.
August 10 · THE EXPLORERExceptional Italian food and wine in a charming Sutton place location! Can’t wait to come back!
August 15 · Ellen MarstellerVastly exceeded expectations. The menu was phenomenal and really hard to make a choice! Everything sounded great and honestly the dishes I had were beyond what I even thought they would be. A bunch of seafood specials where the whole fish was cooked (snapper, branzino, black bass) and then specials like lamb osso bucco and then their super impressive regular menu with several different veal options and tons of house made pasta. The frito Misto is not to be missed. I loved the veal saltimbocca and the ossobucco and you can’t go wrong with the tiramisu! Special shout out to Essa (probably spelled wrong) who is the bartender and doubled as my server, and Luigi the owner and chef who really crushed it! It’s rare when an Italian restaurant in NYC exceeds the already lofty expectation (every place here is great) but La Terra really did.It is a new restaurant that didn’t have a liquor license yet, so bring your own wine if you want it. They should have in early September.
