My favorite local mom & pop chinese restaurant. I always get Chef Tony's favorite chicken - it's crispy chicken cubes that's both sweet and spicy - very addictive. Service is attentive and the woman who runs it is very sweet and kind.

An average Sichuan restaurant by inside of the loop standard. Non-authentic Sichuan items are executed better than the authentic ones. Overall, food is on the sweeter side.

Lao Sze Chuan has delicious food served in a clean and trendy establishment. They have a wide ranging menu with fair prices. The pork soup dumplings were great with a perfectly steamed outside to piping hot flavorful broth on the inside. The sesame chicken had a nice sweet and spicy flavor and I felt it was not over breaded. The staff was very nice and helpful as well

We like all the dishes we ordered, they are very flavorful, with authentic Szechuan numbing and spicy sensation. The roasted Peking duck is one of the best in town!

Nut allergy friendly via delivery on what I ordered.Review is solely for delivery via Postmates. They run a BOGO offer on certain dishes, so I got two orders of the Twice Cooked Pork. I did not see on the app, but each order does come with a container of rice, so you don't have to order extra rice.I was a bit surprised about the amount of vegetables served with the twice cooked pork. There are quite a lot of peppers (green/red, not Sichuan peppercorns) and onions! In other Szechuan restaurants, I get a far larger amount of pork with leeks. There was not too much spice in the twice cooked pork here, but it was still pretty flavorful and the pork was tender enough. Although I wish there was a better ratio of protein, the portions were still substantial and worth it with the BOGO offer. It also reheats pretty well!
