My favorite is the picadillo (slow cooked ground beef and potatoe stew).Yes it’s in the Northside of Downtown Houston, TX which is the Mexican hood which makes this place even more iconic. It’s pretty crowded in the mornings for lunch then again for lunch hours but they sling them tacos out quick. If you want to try one of Houston’s hidden hole-in-the-wall gems for authentic, then this is the spot. April 17 · Al GarzaThis Taqueria Laredo has solid quality breakfast tacos and reasonable prices. There was nothing that was incredibly memorable but it was some above average. The sausage and egg taco was the best and most flavorful. The chorizo was dry and for sure not the greasy hangover cure if that is what you are looking for. The red pork had a good flavor and the meat was tender. Tortillas we good but not as awesome as some other places. Overall worth a visit, but not a long trip to get there.
October 26 · Blake PFirst time at this taco place, and I love their barbacoa and homemade flour tortillas. The gentleman that was at the front Desk was very helpful and friendly. He was able to guide me through the whole experience being my first time The waitress was super attentive Asking if I needed anything, while I was sitting down and enjoying my taco 😇.. Will definitely be coming back and telling my family and friends about this place!
March 12 · Karen GarciaIt's been a great place to get tacos. However lately tacos have been tasting funny. Honestly tastes like foul / dirty water. Almost made me gag. Several occasions already. I'd hate to leave this place. Owners seem quite friendly. Idk staff need to be careful and watched. Good luck. Hope no one gets sick only to put this place out of business...
June 05 · DropathoughtDelicious! Kind of a hole in the wall spot. Stumbled upon it during road trip. The barbacoa is flavorful and it reminds of the first time I had it homemade with family friends and that happened to be in Laredo. This taco has a lovely smear of beans and then the tender meat inside a tasty tortilla that tastes homemade. It's unlike the street tacos I'm used to in Dallas where they use cilantro, onions and lime. I also had the pollo/chicken taco which has sauteed bell peppers and onions-great flavor. The green salsa is the right kind of spicy-hot enough to make your eyes water but still enjoyable. Enjoyed lunch and highly recommend. Can't beat for really yummy $3 tacos. Didn't capture enough photos before chowing down. Give it a try! Cheers!
