★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary at Le Bernardin, and it was truly unforgettable ❤️From the moment we arrived, everything felt so elegant yet full of heart. The space was beautiful, with fresh flowers everywhere, and we were seated at the most charming corner table. My husband sat facing a gorgeous painting, and I had a lovely view of the room — it felt so intimate and special, like the city paused just for us.The service was beyond gracious. When they found out we were celebrating, they brought out a surprise dessert, and it meant so much to us. Every little detail was thoughtful and warm. And the food… absolutely divine. Every dish was a masterpiece — refined, delicate, full of flavor, and simply unforgettable. It’s no surprise they’ve earned three Michelin stars — every bite reminded us why. We kept smiling through each course, completely blown away.It was the perfect place to celebrate love. Romantic, classic, and full of magic. We’ll treasure this evening forever!
June 23 · ZoeFirst things first: food and drink were all delicious and I had a wonderful time here for dinner on a Thursday evening. We decided to go with the four course prixe fixe menu, but the amount of food was on the lighter side compared to similar places in my opinion. I wasn’t starving at the end, but I wasn’t as satisfied as I was expecting, especially for the price and 3-star status of the establishment.Service was very sharp and attentive, though some of the staff did have a shorter air about them. Not necessarily a knock, but it does add to the old-school formal business-y atmosphere that I found interesting. There’s definitely a unique vibe, and depending on what you’re looking for you may either really enjoy it or dislike it; your mileage may vary. As someone visiting from out of town I enjoyed it. It felt like a part of New York City that’s older and you can only get in certain places today. For example, there was basically nobody without a suit jacket on—I haven’t seen such adherence to a dress code in today’s world anywhere else and in that way it was impressive—and it felt like almost everyone was there for some sort of business thing vs special celebrations like birthdays or anniversaries. The interior design is also a bit old school feeling, which I was into, but some may feel it “needs an update” though I’m not sure I agree. There was something special about it.Overall it is worth checking out, but if you’re looking for something specific or have strong preferences I recommend doing a little research before committing if you’re on the fence.
April 18 · Tom ZeienI visited Le Bernardin with friends to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious — fresh ingredients, elegant presentation, and everything tasted great. However, there were a few things that left me disappointed, especially considering the high-end reputation of the restaurant. First, I had informed the staff in advance that one of my guests had a black caviar allergy and requested a substitution. Unfortunately, the dish was served to him without the caviar, but instead of offering a replacement, they simply placed the caviar in the middle of the table, which felt careless.Second, we had mentioned in our reservation that we were celebrating my birthday. When the server brought out the birthday cake with a candle, she approached my friends instead of me. Even after we pointed out that I was the one celebrating, she just placed the cake on the other side of the table. That felt a bit disappointing, especially at a fine dining restaurant where attention to detail should be top-notch.Overall, the food was excellent, but the service did not meet expectations. I hope this was just an off night and not a reflection of their usual standard
June 15 · Alina VWe celebrated our anniversary here, and it was a great experience. The food was unique and exceptional. The staff and service were great too. Would come back for special occasions or celebrations. 💗
August 24 · Den YuGreat lunch!!! We got the 8 course tasting menu and were there for 2.5 hours eating fantastic plate after plate. The salmon started was divine. The chocolate soufflé, the lobster. The service was also impeccable. This is a great spot for good fish and perfect cooking.
