★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1As I drove into Manhattan right when I dropped in from the Catskills, I entered the city traffic. In typical New York fashion, the first person to drive behind me was honking like a mad man (loved it🤣).Driving in, you see a majestic view as you drive along the Hudson River. My jaw dropped as I took in the breathtaking views of the city.I happened upon "Le Pain Quotidien", and as I walked in. I immediately got a really good vibe from the place. Having never eaten here, I didn't realize they had two sides in the restaurant. One is a takeaway/take-out, and the other is a sit down.Staff were beyond friendly, professional, and customerservice oriented. The food was excellent, and the quinoa was cooked to perfection! The atmosphere feels very busy, but when you are in Manhattan... everything is fast and busy! 🫶💯Awesome dining experience, and I would highly recommend!
July 24 · Mark OlsonGot the Chia Pudding with Oats and Berries, a croissant and the (extremely)Large Chai Latte with oat milkWasn’t a huge fan of what I got, except for the Croissant, that was delicious!!Be mindful when doing the sit-down option and always read the fine print 😅 My friends and I added/changed a few things on our plates and didn’t take into consideration that each would be between $1 to $4 dollars for each item, we were surprised by the total in the end, but it was okay.Remember to always tip your waiters 😁Even though the food wasn’t my favorite, service and atmosphere were great 👍🏼
April 28 · Karina del MarI pasted by “Le Pain Quotidein” and was interested in the breads there that I came in and ate brunchThe atmosphere is amazing and so cozy with soft instrumental musicI got the croissant ($4.75) and Dutch mini pancakes ($13) which were both fantastic. The mini pancakes were very fluffy, sweet and were plated nicely making me full in the end.The croissant was buttery, crispy and perfectly flaky and was brought with 3 jars of jam. Blueberry, strawberry, and surprisingly Nutella!
August 12 · KaliThis location urgently needs better management. As a business owner myself, I can say this café has potential — but it’s being completely wasted due to poor leadership and a lack of attention to detail. Every single time I place a delivery order from this location, something is missing. Sometimes it’s the soup itself, sometimes the butter, sometimes the bread — and it’s become a consistent pattern. The most frustrating experience happened recently when I was rushing to an important meeting. I ordered soup, and they completely forgot the bread. I physically cannot eat soup without bread, and I didn’t have time to go back or reorder. I ended up giving the soup away to a homeless person and going hungry. It’s incredibly disappointing that such a well-known chain allows this level of disorganization to persist. There are no similar alternatives in the area, which makes it even more frustrating.Until there is new management or real improvement, I absolutely do not recommend this location.
August 04 · Elli CherryI ordered a fresh fruit salad along with a waffle from this LPQ location. Absolutely gobsmacked. That there was literal mold at the very top (you didn’t even need to open the box to see it). Disgusting and disappointing considering it costs 8$ for a tiny fruit bowl that I’ve now realized is not even fresh. All of it obviously went straight to the trash. Do better.Edit to add: I also got a chai latte that I hadn’t tried when I wrote this review. I literally took one sip and spit it out, and I thought I was going to throw up. I don’t know if they used spoiled milk or what was going on. LPQ really needs to make this right.
