What is worth choosing:
Choosing Luke's Lobster Grand Central means opting for a straightforward yet high-quality seafood experience that is hard to find in such a bustling urban setting. The signature item, the Lobster Roll, is a must-try. You can get the classic Lobster Roll, or for those who want to sample a bit of everything, the Seafood Roll Flight is a great option, allowing you to try the lobster, shrimp, and crab rolls all at once. The seafood is known for being fresh, simply prepared with a touch of butter and seasoning, and served in a perfectly toasted bun. The simplicity of the preparation allows the natural flavors of the seafood to shine. The "Taste of Maine" combo, The Mainer, which includes a lobster roll, chips, a drink, and a side of clam chowder or bisque, is a perfect all-in-one meal for a truly authentic experience.
Beyond the rolls, the Maine-made soups are a highlight. The New England Clam Chowder is a rich, creamy, and flavorful choice, while the Lobster Bisque offers a luxurious and decadent taste. These soups provide the perfect complement to the seafood rolls, especially on a chilly day. The drink menu is also noteworthy, with a selection of draft and bottled beers from local breweries like Brooklyn Brewery and Bronx Brewery, as well as a range of wines and handcrafted cocktails like the Maple Old Fashioned and Passion Fruit Margarita. For non-alcoholic options, the Luke’s Blueberry Lemonade is a refreshing choice.
The combination of a casual setting, fast service, and a focus on high-quality, responsibly-sourced ingredients makes Luke's Lobster Grand Central a compelling choice. It's a place where you can quickly grab a meal without sacrificing taste or quality. While some may find the pricing reflects the premium location and ingredients, the value lies in the authenticity and freshness of the food. It's an ideal spot for anyone looking for a taste of authentic New England seafood without the need for a trip to the coast. It stands as a reliable and delicious option for both a quick lunch and a satisfying dinner, cementing its reputation as a beloved seafood destination for both New Yorkers and visitors.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Absolutely tourist trap. Can’t imagine they give you a small pack of “chips” and claim it as a meal. For this money I would expect some “real” chips or fries. Lobster bisque is actually cream soup + a few lobster meat. Clam chowder has not real clam. They charge the lobster bisque $13. Few days ago I paid $17 for another lobster bisque in the Morton’s steak house. See the differences? Lastly they push the highest tip automatically when you wave your card!!! Be careful!! This shop is just a money sucker.
June 23 · Billy ChanIntroduce yourself to the lobster roll. If, like me, you’ve never tried one before then this is the place to go. Quick service and friendly staff in the amazing setting of the Grand Central Terminal. Even the 4oz roll we had was packed with the tastiest lobster, served with a pickle, chips and a drink. Love it!!We had ours on the go but there is seating available.
July 02 · Andy MacdonaldLuke's serves a great lobster roll. I had the 6 oz lobster roll and the chunks of lobster were big and seasoned "just right" on a soft, toasted buttery bun! This is a great place to people watch while you are eating!
March 26 · Alice ShireyI needed something quick to eat for my train ride , I went with Luke’s lobster. Staff/service no complaints there , all staff was polite and kind. I ordered the crab roll , with white truffle butter. The crab meat was an extremely cold , the bread was cold as well. I really wish it was warmer or I had time to go back and get a more fresh one . All good the amount of crab meat was generous. It was decent cold so I’m sure it’s so so much better warm . Next time I’ll try again.
February 05 · Dalisha PDining Concourse at Grand Central Terminal89 E. 42nd St.New York, NY 10017Luke’sSeafood Flight RollI was grateful this location has a decent amount of seating which also includes a bar area.It was a blessing to have seating in this restaurant as that is hard to come by in this food court.I explored the best of three worlds as I indulged in crab, lobster, and shrimp. The seafood was generously packed into three lightly toasted buttered rolls. Each bite was pure bliss. As a bonus, a bottled drink and chips are also included with the seafood flight.
