Luke's Lobster Union Square Introduce
For a true taste of the New England coast right in the heart of Manhattan, look no further than Luke's Lobster Union Square. This beloved seafood restaurant, located on University Place, has brought the rustic charm and simple, high-quality flavors of Maine's seafood shacks to New York City. Since its founding, Luke's has been celebrated for its commitment to serving fresh, traceable, and sustainable seafood. The star of the show is, of course, the lobster roll, but the menu also features an array of delicious crab and shrimp options, along with classic sides and soups that complete the authentic experience. The atmosphere is casual and trendy, making it a perfect spot for locals, tourists, and students to grab a quick, delicious, and satisfying meal.
The philosophy at Luke's Lobster is all about letting the natural flavor of the seafood shine. Unlike many other places that may drown their seafood in heavy sauces, Luke's keeps it simple with a light swipe of mayonnaise, a drizzle of warm lemon butter, and their signature seasoning. This approach highlights the freshness and quality of the wild-caught lobster, crab, and shrimp, ensuring every bite is a pure delight. Whether you're dining solo for a fast lunch, grabbing dinner with family, or looking for a comforting, quick meal, this Union Square location provides a friendly and welcoming environment for all. August 03 · Alia SabryReally declious lobster 🦞 crab 🦀 shrimp 🦐 sandwiches. We did the lobster flight and the seafood flight. Both very worth it. The flavor in each different type was good. The spicy wasn't to hot but tangy. The lemon butter was smooth. The crab was very light. The shrimps surprisingly had the most flavor a straight explosion 💥 in your mouth. Also the drinks were tasty and refreshing. We had the blueberry soda and the ginger beer. The ginger has alot of spicy kick. The blueberry 🫐 soda was mild and sweet.

March 20 · Jae BaeSuperrrrr good!!! Lobster tastes fresh and loved all the different flavors they had. The truffle and Mike’s hot were amazing. Cannot wait to come back! Plus the guys working were really nice and friendly. Yes it’s expensive but certainly worth it!Came on a Saturday a little after noon and there were empty tables which was surprising since there only like 4 sitting areas. Everything is kept clean and has a cool Maine atmosphere.
September 14 · Pat ZHave considered going here since its been in the neighborhood, but the business is always such a mess out front with their garbage out on the sidewalk overflowing the only trashcan they seem to have. Hard to imagine the conditions in the kitchen are better.
