The food was phenomenal and the wait staff and Sommelier Brandon were just as good! Stefano Secchi knows what he is doing. Also, the restaurant here on 26th Park Avenue is very well done from a decor and ambiance standpoint. Especially given that they were displaced from their original place due to a fire. Thank you to all of the Massara staff and keep doing what you are doing! We will certainly be back every time that we are in NYC😉👍🏼

Service was very warm and they tried their best to make us feel comfortable. Wine selection was great and fairly priced. The ambiance is beautiful and happy but the noise level was a bit high.

June 08 · christina mendozaDined at Massara earlier this week and enjoyed every moment. We started with a pizzeta (the air-iest dough!), pulpo, leeks and the baby gem. Every bite was excellent and somehow improved the more we ate. We ordered 4 pastas and this is how I rank them: candele, (I’m a sucker for a meat sauce) cavatelli, (can’t believe this is second because of how amazing it was!) raviolini & the quadratti. The first 3 I’d say are MUST orders. We ordered the pork belly & arctic char for proteins. Both were very tasty, but be aware the portions are on the smaller size. For dessert we tried 2, a pear based and a chocolate based dish that were both enjoyable. We did wine by the glass & I love Italian wine, but was unfamiliar with the choices they had available and our server did an excellent job steering me to the Italian versions of French wine I was familiar with (Sancerre/white burgandy) (for red, I had a Nerello from Etna that was perfect for the pastas). Service was excellent and knowledgeable and the decor is immaculate. If you like Rezdora, you must try Massara. If you enjoy pasta, you must try Massara. If you just want to remember how good life can be with good food and friends, then just visit Massara!

After trying most of the top pasta places in NYC, I was eager to try the new Massara. But the small portions weren’t even that great. The baby gem was alright, the montanara pizza was nothing to write home about. For pastas we tried Candele, cheesemakers raviolini, and pacceri. I was trying to love, but we just didn’t. The sommelier was great and wine of the week was fantastic
