★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1One of the best burgers in New York City! We didn’t have a reservation and ended up waiting about an hour or two on a Friday night, finally sitting down for dinner around 11 PM. Even that late, the restaurant was still buzzing, intimate, packed, love the dark lighting , very romantic and full of that classic New York energy. The service was a solid 10/10, attentive and friendly without being rushed. Of course, we ordered their famous burger, and it truly lived up to the hype .perfectly juicy, fresh, and flavorful.Despite the wait, the whole experience was absolutely worth it. We had a lovely evening and will definitely be back.
August 19 · ZoeThis is the first time I sat at the bar instead of dining room in this charming vintage hotspot. The bartender was attentive and engaging, and the customers were talking to and enjoying each other company without constantly looking at their phone. The food (burgers, steaks, fries, french dips, desserts) was amazing as always especially the bone marrow (smokey flavor and buttery with red wine shallots). Last but not the least….great selection of wine and beautifully crafted cocktails.
June 17 · ChristineGreat atmosphere, and everyone greets and serves you with a smile, super friendly! The food was good, but we weren’t exactly wowed by the steaks. We ordered the steak frites and the filet mignon.
August 26 · Tarek MatarThis was a highly recommended spot, and on my first visit to Minetta Tavern I can happily say it exceeded every expectation I had. The hostesses were warm and welcoming, even offering me a seat at the bar while I waited for my table, which made the experience feel effortless from the start.I ordered the steak frites, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, with fries that were crisp and golden. For dessert, I tried the crème caramel— rich, and absolutely faultless (but definitely large enough to share!).A huge thank you to my servers, Tony and Luiz. Both were wonderful, Tony in particular made my first experience here so memorable with his incredible service and care.Even the doorman was friendly and welcoming, kindly offering to let me wait by him while I called my Uber—such a small gesture that left a big impression.I’m already looking forward to my next visit!!
August 18 · Sarah NiaziFood was almost spectacular, the Cesar felt like it wasn't washed properly so it was inedible but the bone marrow was rich and delicious. The burger was also very good. Almost as good as Lugers! We were assigned what felt like a new waitress but she did okay. She forgot a few things but upon review, we weren't charged for it.Desert was great too!
