★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Classy spot! Went in a group of 5 which was perfect to share a bunch of small plates. I was most impressed with the vibrant flavors in the cucumber salad and corn gyoza but can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, especially the torched corn scallop. And we also loved the cocktails. Great atmosphere for conversation, busy but not too loud! I would come back in a heartbeat
August 05 · Sachi TejaniThe food was excellent and truly the highlight of the experience, Unfortunately, the front-of-house staff was disorganized and lacked basic knowledge of food, wine, and sushi service. One server said she would bring us soy sauce while another asked if we wanted any, showing a lack of communication. One server asked if we are interested in beer and we said no, but then another server came and pushed beer on us even after we declined. Neither could suggest a dry white wine which is the most simple request of all time. I had to select something familiar off the by the glass list, only to be told we weren’t allowed to taste anything, which was disappointing. We were ready to order a $30 glass of champagne but settled for something cheaper since we could not taste or smell the wine to see if it is our style and the servers were not confident the champagne was dry. I’ve never encountered this kind of refusal before especially from two people who seemed to have zero wine knowledge. I’m not saying anyone needs to be a sommelier but if you’re not allowing me to taste the wine, you should be able to at least tell me if it is a dry wine. The hostess also seemed brand new, speaking loudly about late reservations and sounding unsure of how to handle it. When the late guests finally arrived, they were taken to a back room we hadn’t even been told about. After asking, we found out it was a martini and hand roll bar, which we would have loved to experience. Discovering it after being seated at a regular table, away from the chef, made our experience less enjoyable and honestly at this point we wanted to leave. With just one manager with some restaurant experience, this place could improve significantly. I might not return, but I would still recommend it for the food, especially for a casual night out.
August 03 · Lauren PiresOkay food..sloppy service and noisy ambiance. We reserved for 8 pm..arrived on time..got seated 8.30 and the first drink landed on the table at 9 pm. Food was good but not great. We didn’t like the service at all. The receptionist was not welcoming and the waiter , despite being friendly, couldn’t explain the dishes.
May 19 · Tarek FarahatHands down the best hand roll bar I’ve ever been to! The flavors were absolutely insane—every bite melted in my mouth and felt like a completely new experience. What really sets this place apart is the chef’s style: no chopsticks, no extra sauces—he creates the perfect flavor pairings himself and hands the roll directly to you. It feels personal, intentional, and unforgettable. On top of that, the chef was so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. After trying other spots, I can confidently say nothing compares—this is my new go-to!
August 23 · Dr. Pauline MarkowiczMy friend and I stopped by for happy hour right before dinner. I was eager to check it out because of their unique beer selection. Based on the menu, I think the sushi is a bit overpriced, but happy hour is always a good deal.I tried the Juiced Lychee IPA, which was really good—you can definitely taste the lychee in the aftertaste. My friend had the Raspberry Rose, but it was too tart for me. I also had the Sour Watermelon Saison, which was supposed to taste like a watermelon Jolly Rancher, but it didn’t. However, the pickled watermelon rind flavor stood out.Of course, we had to try the caviar bump for $15, served on a wooden spoon. We also ordered two happy hour hand rolls, the spicy scallop and spicy tuna, priced at $12 each. They were fresh and pretty good.Overall, I’d come back just for the happy hour.
